Fine presentation, you talked me through something I was hesitant about. I am now moving on to replace the fresh air door actuator. Good work: clear, concise, no foolish music perfect pace.
That is very handy to get the battery voltage, since there is no gauge for this. Does anyone know if there is an advanced feature menu for the factory radio with the small display (not touchscreen), with the physical pushbuttons ?
In Louisiana I’m getting E-85 .50 cents a gallon cheaper than regular gas and in Wisconsin l got it .90 cents cheaper than regular gas. The savings out weighs the mpg loss
Thanks, that's an excellent straightforward guide vid! Even though I'm into slow swamp surfing on my Merida, still need goggles cause of flying mud and goddamn swarms of bugs
Finally finished my alternator swap and was able to try this. Two questions for ya: 1. Any idea why this would NOT work on a 2015 SuperCrew XL 2.7? 2. (And possibly the answer to 1) I have a persistent TMPS error message upon startup because I’m not fond of the price to replace the batteries. Is there any way to mute or ignore a message like that? Thanks for answering my previous question too.
I do not know why it wouldn’t work. My buddy has a 15 and he had trouble getting it to work at first but it finally did. And I think forscan would be your only options to mute that alarm
Does anyone know what happens if the unit gets wet? I immediately took off the battery and the unit got a little bit of water on it. It wasn’t submerged or anything. Do you think it should be OK?
You should be able to get this from the regular display options... MPH or KM/H for digital speedometer, M or KM for odometer, F or C for outside temperature and MPG or KM/L for fuel consumption. On my 2017 F150 these can all be changed without going into engineering mode... and once changed, they stay that way.
@@LakeNipissing I have all of those on display options except MPH and KM/H. Could my vehicle not have it? I have to constantly hit ok every time I drive to select mph, it’s getting annoying
@@mw3designs On my 2017 F150 (V8) it states hit 'OK' to switch to MPH, and then it stays there every time the truck is restarted. My truck is in Canada, but I have all of the units in US; odometer in Miles, digital speedometer / cruise control in MPH, fuel econ in MPG and outside temperature in °F. Only the analog speedometer has large 0 to 200 km/h digits, with small MPH. Interesting... there must be different software versions.
@GRmotors I bought the bike used..alot of mods..seems like more towards street..had a 14/48 gear set...changing back to a 13/51...just seems really stiff like riding a jackhammer..
@rossokeefe9268 May be sprung or valved too stiff for your weight. But for the clickers I would run the compression and rebound all the way in and then all the way out and see how many clicks there is. And then go half way back in. Do that on front and back and ride it like that and see what it feels like. That will get you close to stock settings.
Wow! That looked easy to do. Thanks man. I’m going through my Tahoe and removing all the shit that doesn’t have to be there. All the ducting for the front portion of the floor is gone. I removed the seats and replaced them with manual buckets. The air back sensor is gone now and the floor is now clean. I have standard lap belts now. That shoulder harness just got in the way. On Star is on its way out as well. I’m going to change out the stereo too. God, the ceiling has way too many vent openings for the air conditioner. The ports in the front of the dash are good enough. I’m leaning down my interior. The electric panel on the door is constantly rattling loose. Every time I close the door it pops out of alignment. I’ll look for some door panels in better shape. This body style is the coolest I think. I’m switching over to LED lights inside and out. I’ve got a ways to go. My work is definitely cut out for me.
One more thing guys that he's not talking to you about if your cargo light stays on one of your doors is still open it's not closed all the way,, I would suggest opening and resetting every door properly and then it will turn off
