Looks like a hangout where there's not a lot of foot traffic so there's more time to work on those walls. Indeed some has been on the walls for a few years others fairly new but the good part is that it wasn't just random scribble. Even the bridge style with the little cutouts and the outside with small edges is not typical of today's building. Apparently some freight tracks have been lifted but it looks like the rapid transit line is still in use there A fun little detour
Put the four tires on the hot tub and Cruise the Highway. Even though it was cold and overcast that building is Stark and imposing. Nice old electrical layout. Possibly a small cutting area add could load One Flat Car at a time inside. Nice find
Gallitizin Tunnel built in 1904 was abandoned in 1995 after ConRail enlarged the center Allegheny Tunnel in 1994. New Portage Tunnel was also enlarged and that downgrade is know as the slide. Whereas Penn Central had 4 tracks going through 3 tunnels here in the 1970's there are now 3 tracks going through two tunnels.
