Heb ik ook een keer gedaan toen op een zondag mijn auto een klapband kreeg en de garages dicht waren. Oude band eraf geflext en de nieuwe op deze manier erop gezet. Alleen gebruikte ik deodorant i.p.v. startpiloot.
bcbloc02 yes, gear on the crankshaft has moved and/ore camshaft. The gear from the camshaft is lose. that is for sure. it was all standard. never a problem with the engine. it ran since 1998 in the tractorpulling.
Those big injection pumps put a lot of stress on the gear train. I always weld the crank gear and you need to weld where the two pieces of the cam gear are put together so they don't slip in relation to each other. This engine have cam or crank drive oil pump?
bcbloc02 cam drive oilpump. and a steel nose on the camshaft. i got another 619 engine also with cam drive oil pump. this happend with the 13 mm pump. next year a 14 mm pump. even more stress for the engine.
I would do away with the cam drive oil pump they really strain the cams. Oh and I don't know about on the BBJD but the A&I replacment cams for the 7.6L are steel and if the cam is damaged using one of those to get ground for your motor might be a cheap way to a billet cam.
+Nelson Cotamo Samper It is for tractorpulling, for diesel engines. I made the heidenhain milling program myself. it is not cad/cam. With the use of parameters in the program for the radius and the depth. For milling the swirl cone in the middle of the piston.
bcbloc02 that is 8.1 liter engine with a bigger bore and now 9 liter displacement, holset hx 82 and 18 mm plungers in the bosch pump. that schifting is riding on the clutch.
bcbloc02 yes I did. the IH is one of a lighter weight. I ran without an intercooler. And the waterinjection didn't do his job the second run. Next pull I have the right intercooler on the tractor. This was a sand track, not so much grip.
this is still the old 13mm p-pump. A standard intercooler has no flow. the new intercooler comes from a diesel engine from a boat. Exhaust temperature was 1070 degrees celcius intake was 170 celcius. way too hot. The new pump is not ready still.
Ahh, this just looked like the best runs of the videos you put up. I guess you didn't get that one on film. When will we see your tractor out again? :-)
I didn't have much time working on my tractor. still got the old injection pump on it. And the intercooler from a little ship engine has to be put on the tractor. 16 may is the next pull. I hope with the big intercooler. When not then with more water injection to cool the stuff.
A better fuel pump and better turbo I think. This was a pull with heavy sled settings an a real good clay track. The gear ratio is too high for the old 619 as you already said in the begining when I built this set of gears. I am now changing the gears for the next pull. One step lower in gearing, let's see what happens. By the way the new Bosch P 7000 with 17 mm plungers is ready but fits not directly on the engine. The pump is for the 531 engine . This engine fits nice in the 9 liter limit class. 531 cid = 8.8 liter. The engine is for next year. Thanks fr the comment!
You can get another bearing front plate for the P7100 and have it turned down install it and then grind the allen bolts to clear and install it in the stock block hole for the p3000. I have found a 13mm P7100 with a custom quick cam is best for the rpm limited classes. We tried a 16mm p7100 and it turned so much harder than the 13mm that it lost power even though it can inject quicker. The big pumps work much better for rpm unlimited classes where the quicker delivery can actually be of more benefit.
This pump is a flange pump with 4 mounting holes. just as an original p 3000 pump. Only wider. The gear is mounted to the hub with 8 m8 bolts. I make a plate between the pump and the engine then it fits. Here in Holland the 17 mm pump elements are realy good . The camshaft of the pump does not need to be changed. When the pump is ready, I let you know!
Still kind of hoppy but getting much better!! Full Pull!! Can you loose any weight off the nose? If not maybe try moving your drawbar back further to get more lift on the front end should help with the bouncies.
The tires are now at 1.5 bar. 0.5 bar higher than last time. The tires are michelin m18 radial and kind of difficult finding the right pressure. This was a sand track. I pulled in highest gear. I forgot the front weights, shame! But I am looking for smaller weights to put on. The drawbar can be moved 2 inches backwards. I think you are right to do that on this kind of tracks. Thanks for the advice, I'll try it next time! This was the second pull on this track. The first pull was pretty much hoppy. The cause was I let the clutch to quick loose for the last part and then it started already. The second time I did that better and much less hoppy pull.
Those were the top years of the so called trekkerslep. My yellow deere was a strange tractor it ran always great. I hope it does this year again. Appie Thunderous power drove with the jd 5020. He is a real jd junkie!
