Doesn’t have to be a 2-pole breaker. Can be two adjacent single poles.

#4 is smaller than #2, 2/0 is smaller than 4/0. Makes sense if you don't think about it

2/0 seems to be shorthand for 00 gauge (2x0's)

can someone please share information about the dimensions of the spring nut. whats the groove/teeth dimensions? does the spring nut press only against the lip of the unistrut or also against the top flange of the unistrut?

Yea but when you got 3/8” conduit, shit dont go smaller… hell I’m lucky to get 3/8 parts at the warehouse.. i’ll just make em live and cut until i see sparks..

Can you use plastic snap in connectors (like Arlington Black Button NM96) with reducing washers, or do they require something with a locking nut that can tighten down on the reducing washers?
@arthurcook5535
@arthurcook5535 Год назад
The reducing washer didn’t work as it left no thread left to screw on the lampshade retaining ring

Agreed 1000%!! It's ultimately up to us to make safety number one! Ultimately, in the end, we're the ones that are responsible for the outcome of a project. Therefore, the liability also rest on us. Well-stated!

PVC of the smaller sizes is impossible to push all the way together without melting it with solvent. The fittings on the smaller sizes have fittings that taper inwards.

I have a run of 90', which will require using four 25" rolls of the non-metallic conduit. What couplers can I use to join/connect each 25' run?

Well if it already happened it’s pretty much gone. Could maybe catch it with a rook or something but in the future use a piece with a fitting on it so it can’t fall in
