I have to go to a competition it’s actually a championship in the USA and I live 29 hours away from Bear or more because I have a lot of traffic and by the way I love this
Thank you for presenting this in such an easy-to-follow format! I've not got a lick of experience with Highland dance, but your video is going to be great fun to practice.
That was fabulous thanks to dancer and teacher. One Q, is the arm up move used always or are you keeping the arms down so we focus on the steps? Cheers!
The way I have been dancing the second step is [1 shuf-] [+ fle] [2 hop] [+ down] [3 shuf-] [+ fle] [4 beat] [+ beat], but I am told that this is wrong. Are you able to tell me which movements come on which beat (or off-beat)?
That was WAY more "professional" than this Morris dancer bloke who did the same thing. Well technically anyway, he did tell a story though it was a pretty good story. This is much too advanced for me. Ull stick to da Morris, it looks like fun but.
We have a few different videos of the third step, crossing and pointing, adding the spring points and for the open pas de basque step. Check out our competition playlist
