For there first bag I’d say they did great… They have to have at least 1 or 2 designers from other bag companies I would think. I have all the leather I can handle with the Viking bullet for now but I can’t wait to see what they do next.
I agree. We will be having them as guests for our podcast next! So stay tuned for that convo. I will say you're spot on as their founder has experience in that department!
I wish they made this slightly cheaper. It's overpriced. I would have been fine at 150. I do wish they made a smaller version to this. 6L is fine. But they should make two or three more versions. 3L 7L and 9-10L as well. I'd probably have gotten the 3L as I don't carry a lot of stuff, when I'm out and about. This sling however, would have been useful, when I went for that LA hike. I went from Santa Monica to Hollywood. Took 3 or so hours
Yeah I felt like the size was slightly too small for myself but it seems the consensus is that it's either slightly too big or too small. They do make a cheaper alternative version, I believe, that is without the Carryology branding and the materials and certain features.
@@urbancred they are definitely overpriced. But the design is nice. I'm not sure how long lasting the material is for the front. As I've seen someone with cracks and creases if you look closely. So that's pretty worrying
@@urbancred yeah, I've got one. It was back in stock. I got it as a gift and was thinking, these are out of stock aren't they. But I plan to only use it, when we go on outings or flights and holidays. Don't plan to use it everyday. Just the outings like to the beach on a nice day, or a theme park. I was planning on getting an iPad, but I'm not sure if it'll fit yet
Yeah. Basically! A wallet with a strap. But some people really just want something to toss everything into and not have to keep it in their pockets or bag. Other's use it in addition to their backpack. Everyone carries different!
You should be fine. No swimming. Standing long periods, you might feel some moisture inside the bag but it'll still be dry. At least from our experience.
It does carry well and has some cool ideas and organization + the look is hot stuff. I though the space was slightly smaller than I'd hoped. I wish they made it a tiny bit bigger but it's still a great sling! Thanks for watching!
This is a great bag, but I will definitely not purchase it due to the fact that the straps are over padded. The straps on the Osprey daylight commuter are perfect for a 13 L bag.
The Basi[x] recently became super popular and are pretty much sold out everywhere. The Multi-Cam is a great choice and is close to or almost sold out so good choice. It's a subtle kind of Multi-Cam so no worries.
@@urbancred Thanks for that information, good to know it’s more subtle. You have a great selection on your website. Looking forward to trying out the hat!
@@hurricanewarning11 Sure. We can take a look to put in a special order for those. I'll let you know updates later this week. Do send us an email at support@urbancred.com so we have an easier way to respond to you.
Actually with that bag needs on the inside is one side hook and loop then you can add your own little admin pouches to it That's what it really needs belroy hello are you listening are you hello bellroy are you listening yeah hook and loop in the inside❤
Yeah Bellroy! Are you listening? Fun-ness aside, there actually is an attachment point in the front pocket...I have so many bags, I get them mixed up...maybe? Need to go check.
Love the insight on this guy’s brand! Definitely helps since I’m wondering about looking for a partner in business too. I’m looking forward to your future episodes!
You could always try the Daily or Daily Plus for a slightly larger bag. Daily: urbancred.com/products/daily-backpack Daily Plus: urbancred.com/products/daily-plus-backpack Let me know if you have other questions!
Great review. I thought I wanted x-pac material but all of these reviews confirm how loud these bags are when using and opening. Is this a good observation or is it amplified being in close proximity to the microphone? Is it a real concern?? I think I want the older material that is more pliable.
I personally don't find them that much louder than other materials. During our uses, it doesn't ever get loud enough to interfere with our daily use. The loudest component on the bag is really the zipper and that depends on how hard you pull open and close. But again it might be the mic that amplifies it. I hope that helps!
@@urbancred showing an EDC or common case for edc with a different angle would be good and some b-roll would definitely help showcase the features a lot better alongside showing the heaviest the bag can go without it being painful to carry! A few shots on body can help with dimensions too and demonstrating the bag sell
@@cine-ish Good stuff! I'll make notes of these tips and see if we can incorporate them into the future videos. Thanks for being a GOAT and helping us out!
Hi there! The X-Tote is going to be a little small for a 16" Macbook unfortunately. We recommend getting the bigger X-Case instead. Thanks for watching!
Hi there! Code of Bell recommends using a soft, moist cloth to clean the BASI[X] hat, then hang dry away from direct sunlight. It is not possible to machine wash it.
Hi! We've been using our laptop sleeve for a couple weeks now and haven't had any issues so far. A gentle pass with a lint roller should be enough to clean the inner area though in case it does get a little dusty.
Great review! I kind of want both, but I think I’m going to start with the A5 because I often take notes without a desk and it’s just a little bit easier to handle. Question for you, though; does the front of the A5 model also fold all the way around so you can hold it in one hand or is the A4 the only one capable of that?
Hi there! The X-Tote comes with plastic clips that help you attach the Annex series to the vertical webbing on the sides. You can see it demonstrated in this Pack Hacker review of the X-Case: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J2DXqQmtaFU.htmlsi=MY1hEs3vMYyL1dbj&t=857
