Were you using any sort of accuracy buffs or equpment? I used 12 poison dynamite and none of them hit, I just had a shortbow (regular) and graceful on, didn't use any buffs and am 50 firemaking. EDIT: tried again with 10 poison dynamite, this time I brought the best ranged accuracy bonus I could equip (+38 in total) and missed all but the last dynamite which hit a 1, luckily it also procced poison and I was able to finish the quest! I was going to say that this is my second full trip of PD attempted here. And I was wearing max accuracy with 99 firemaking... so yeah, it's kinda just RNG past that accuracy when you can't cast vulnerability, or spec down defenses while waiting on regeneration with alts (because Mezan doesn't regen at all). @@Whetss oh!!! In the OSRS settings themselves there is this new skill panel interface check box you can select. Forget exactly what it’s called but it’s awesome.
Jagex decided it’s apart of the quest and isn’t considered the earth one needed for diaries. There are non quest earth elementals down there to kill for the diary

Hey man, I do not have a guide on it. With the changes in the game I’m not sure how well it works now, but it’s using PD and like 9 alts. It’s tedious and gets crashed a lot.
Should have some water added to wilderness and have option to build pvp boats or something. You and a few of your buddys can enter In a boat and have specific roles, steering, use the cannon, scout the the crows nest, and so on.
Honestly the skill just sounds crap. It feels like Jagex are trying to shoehorn a new skill into the game because they've wanted a new skill for a few years.
Hey, just found this video and I know its probably outdated, but is it possible to do this without alts? If the tree spirit only restores 1 hp per minute, if you hit a 2+ with dynamite and proc poison, it should die before it despawns without any other players interfereing. I did a bit of skiller stuff on my account back when the 0 xp spawn hit method was still a thing so I haven't really used dynamite so idk how rare it is to both hit a 2+ AND get the poison proc. Also subbed cause these videos are very useful.
Yes you are right, this method is outdated as it was uploading a long time ago. And even better than what you're saying, you can use retribution alts to kill the zombies for the hatchet and kill the tree spirit even faster and with less rng needed for the poison, as pd to get damage is easier than pd to get poison proc. Also, it's beneficial to still use aspects of this like the vulnerability alt that will lower it's defence, and even if you desire alts to bring down it's defence for pd accuracy. I will be coming out with a quest guide to go through all my vids quickly and mention changes. Basically a Guide changelog with some clips for improvements. Also keep in mind this is not for normal level-3s but iron level-3's which requires some differences because of kill credit.
Yeah, in all honesty the first is easier now because you can just recoil and survive rather easily (much easier with tough guy because his hp is so high and pd to get poison is a lot harder than pd to get damage then recoil to death like a normal lvl 3 would.

Did some science and, if you die during this encounter (as a UIM), you spawn in the Colosseum lobby with all your items on the floor (as with any other “unsafe” death. Your looting bag breaks, and I presume you’d also lose anything in a death bank.
