thaks bud yeah finally getting my head around things, defo a step up from the first track which didnt have any FX, figured its the suttle tweaks that bring it all together.
I understand Bandlab has a drum machine already built in with different sounds from old analogue machines. Say if you're making a drum pattern and laying the kicks & hats can you choose between 707s, 909s, 808s etc, of are the drum sounds exclusive to Bandlab. See the only production I did was with analogue machines which just included 2 drum machines (909 & 808), the tr-303 for that funky bass & Juno keyboard to give it a riff. ? So I'm not sure exactly how digital production works?
Another top record Mr. Brady. This was also released on Zap Trax, the same label that has Upanatom - Boys on it. The Zap Trax release seems really rare, tho, only 1 person has it & 4 want it, it had an extra mix & extra track (Oh Yah) on the Zap Trax release.
Track 5 (Ragga Jungle tune) is The New Style by General Levy & Apache Indian feat RJ (Outcaste Records). I recognised Apache Indian's vocals and his "Indian Posse" refrains so I just searched 'Apache Indian Jungle Track'. The mix is either the 'Cool Like That Mix' or the 'Version A Version'; the Junglee 12" mix is on RU-vid and sounds different, but you can hear the same Apache's Indian's vocal chant at 1:53. Apparently the track only made it to promo pressing due to legal problems with General Levy's and Apache Indian's record labels. On a side note, I have some old tapes containing some Essential Selection recordings from 6/9/96 and LoveGroove Dance Party from 8/2/97 (Dave Pearce standing in). Both have a track/remix not yet on RU-vid. I uploaded that remix as an 'unlisted video' as a favour to the original vocalist (he only had the original on his channel). Sadly the remains of my early 90's Essential Selection cassette recordings were wiped by me circa 1994/1995. I mainly listened to a local dance show back between 1989-1995 (Saturday Soul Club/Soul Club/The Beat, 103.2 Power FM, Southern England. Originally presented by Guy Hornsby). great detective work Rjay thanks for the ID ;) yeah it's gotta be a mix of The New Style, you hear a few of the elements from this version on the Junglee Mix. I think we all recorded music off the radio back then & never thought anything of it, it's only years later when you try to hear it back you realise how many tapes have slipped through your hands over the years, leant out, recorded over, lost etc. never to be heard again

I'm lucky that my preferences were more commercial/pop-friendly dance tracks and I've been able to pick up most of them quite easily on CD single/12" vinyl and various compilations. Much more difficult when the tracks you like only ever had a '12" vinyl only' release.
Thanks Mumma, it feels like a step up from the last one, learned a few new tricks, grouping parts in a sidechain makes them work together, it's subtle but it works
@@Sbradyman that’s good. Need to hear on decent headphones, but I enjoyed that and catchy too. You only need one tune to blow up 😉 The piano was ace. I am thinking of maybe having some lessons, cos it seems like a limiter not knowing this stuff.
@@djmumma you can drop samples into it aswell & it tells you which chords are being played, lot easier than trying to figure it out by ear (the old way)

Nice track, especially the piano appeals to me. It has a very clear sound and well played chords. Nice bassline and the vocal samples are well fitting again. This is what we can call a good piano house track. Well done Scott! 🎹🎶😎
