I've ironed my own shirts for almost 50 yrs now, and I've always done it in the reverse order - one side of front, back, other side of front, sleeves, yoke, then collar. I often get compliments on how good my shirts look, so I'm not changing the system.
Не правильно поглажена рубашка. В России стрелки на рукавах не заглаживают, считается неаккуратно и даже неприлично ходить со стрелками на рукавах. Прочитав комментарии, очень удивлена , что столько людей не умеют гладить рубашки!
I learnt something today. Thank you! I never ironed my shirts myself, always paid someone to do it for me. But since it’s that easy I’m gonna do it myself now. The “Yeah” at the end was just so funny. It felt like you were saying, “Start ironing your shirt, it’s easy, you lazy ***”
Thank you! I'm a quilter so my iron is always out but I needed a refresher course on men's shirts. Our youngest has a big job in-person interview tomorrow.
Thank you so much! I wanted to learn through the internet because mom always says "lEaRn hOw tO irOn" without teaching me anything like wtf what if I burn my clothes
The hardest part for me is, I always seem to create a wrinkle when doing the sleeve. I notice you only do one side of the sleeve, then you turn it over and just use a lint brush on the other side. No need to iron both sides of the same sleeve?
No need to iron both sides. If you have enough heat and just enough pressure, the iron effects both layers. (Linen and Cotton shirts need significant heat. Other materials - synthetics - do NOT need much heat.)
@@DavidSabine Thanks for the reply. Like I said, the reason I hate ironing, is I'll do a sleeve, it'll look good, I'll turn it over, do the other side, and voila! I've created a wrinkle on the other side where (I thought) I just finished ironing. Oh well, practice, practice, practice...
@@broadcasttttable, yes, the trick is to lay the garment flat (all layers) and to NOT iron both sides. Iron one side and let the heat, steam and pressure permeate both layers at once.
Sorry. I don't have the score any longer. You could write to camerondrummser.com. Ask if they can put their setting back on this page: www.camerons.org/band-sheet-music/
My boyfriend calls the "front plate" the "driver's side" and "passenger side" Lol btw, it takes my boyfriend 45 minutes to iron one shirt. He swears that no one is doing it right if it takes less than 45 minutes. I may have to show him this video.
Nag subscribe ako kasi ang galing mo mag plantsa at baka marami pa akong matutunan kasi bago akong kasal. Natawa ako ito ang pangalawang video na nakita ko, nagtatagalog ka pala! hahahha! nagulat ako.
I totally understand the midlife drum purchase because I did the EXACT same thing. Bought a beautiful set of Gretsch USAs in green glitter. I didn’t get to set em up in the living room though. And my kids “helped” me set em up too.
