Purchase Rasant thread it's a lot better for your machine. You can purchase Gutermann Mara m120 thread which is a lot cheaper than the spotlight spools
Kia ora, here from Aotearoa NZ. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I am so inspired by your hard work and dedication to share your experiences.♥
Do you have any Medical fabric? I have found some for nurses and Dental. They aren't cheap it costs $14.99 a yard for it. They went really well at the one sale I did. I have dropped some off at my Doctors office and will soon find out how much I made. For my first sale in Michigan in my own home town (very small)), I made almost $1000.00. I credit you and Taylah for inspiring this 60 plus year old lady to start out on this new adventure. You are great, keep showing me more of your wonderful videos. Love and God Bless
Thank you Sharon, you are very kind. I did find one medical specific fabric. I'm yet to make up headbands with it. We don't get the same kind of variety that you get in the USA. I have my fingers crossed for you, I hope you do well at the Doctors office.
Hi from Michigan USA. I really enjoy watching you both set up. You have a very handsome and helpful hubby. I think men also need to know that they look fine. I really want to show my hubby the turn style display. I am soon going to make the twisted headbands. The wire headbands are next. I just need to know what gauge wire you switched to. I love all the inspiration that you have given me. You are great and God Bless.
Hi Sharon, I will let my husband know. I'll show a close up of the display in my next video. The wire I use does not have a gauge mentioned. I just went by feel. It holds shape better but is still flexible and feels comfortable.
With a few tweaks that can be a bikini top too. I hope you’re already experimenting that. The prints are so good. And people might enjoy it during the warmer temps
Thanks Diana, i got the inspo from something I saw on Tiktok. Can't remember the creator, but it's very simple to put together. I might show how we put it together in an upcoming video.
@@goldenwattledesigns how do we get to know about upcoming markets? Any instagram page or link that shares these information ?i shifted to Melbourne recently,so not very aware
Congratulations on hitting 1000 Trisha 🎉 Newbie here and in Australia. But I’m based out in Adelaide! Yet to explore handmade markets here ! Absolutely loved watching your market planning & preps ❤ Best wishes!
Your booth always looks so pretty Trisha. i had to laugh when you said that the velvet fabric was shedding like hell . LOL congrats on 1000 subbies! Diana xx
👋 Hi Trisha...Thank you! So much for the shoutout that's so beautiful! What a lovely surprise. I've been wearing my earwarmer headband everyday...Loving it! ❤🐕
It's not just you, I think spotlight is getting really expensive too. Back when they had that $40 off coupon, I went and got some fabric for a comic market that I have coming up, there was a 40 to 50% off sale on at the time as well, plus I got a few clearance fabrics too. I only got a meter of most of the fabrics I got 2 meters in only a couple of fabrics and what was left on the bolt with a couple of the clearance fabrics which were only around 2 meters as well, but most I only got a meter of, and I really didn't get that much, and still with the sale prices and the $40 off voucher it cost me almost $300, I almost had heart failure when the girl told me the total 😅
Yes, I know what you mean, I was checking the prices of the fabric but I wasn't adding up as well as I should have. I'll definitely be more careful next time
Hello and welcome. I am based in Australia. Spotlight is like our little version of Joann's. I've always wanted to visit Joann's - seems like they have a lot more variety than we do.
Hi there, from Victoria! i was wondering if your willing to share how much you charge for your scrunchies? my husband and I are thinking of doing the local market again, we did this about 15 yrs ago but only sold jewellery back then. Now i sew, ut have no idea how much to charge on scrunchies, i was thinking $5 ea , but would love your opinion. Any loved the vlog and your market set up looks amazing! Diana xx
