I said if you are coming from a three years or older phone you are going to notice the improvements. Now if you are upgrading yearly then I say is a refinement not a minor improvement.
What always snags me is both Verbal Kint and Dave Kujan both act surprised that there's a man named Keyser Soze. And then- a few minutes into each segment, they make it sound like the guy is ubiquitous and everybody's heard of him.
Adults kids most certainly they must respect them wether divorce or not they should have respect both of them no they respect both n nether should have to choose be parents ong u don’t have kids I am sure so there for u shouldn’t be talking this topic
Can someone please help me? I ve been looking at this basic model to upgrade my set up but i am afraid to go for it in 2024 being already 3 years old computer. I do all the tasks i need to do minus 4k video editing on my current machine which is an ancient 2010 mac pro 5.1 x2 xeon modified with 3gb gpu and 32gb ram. I think to myself if i can do most of the things i need on that old computer i ll be able to at least do the same on this right? Should i go for it or sell my mac 5.1 save my money and get a mac studio? Thanks!
I think im one of those weird people that can only wear headphones over the ears (or cans)... I literally never put pods in my ear. I wish i could wear these though
I’m thinking of getting the Mac Mini. I started saving my coins for it. By the time I get it the new model should be out so I can spend more on the previous model.
I wish they didn’t gimp the iPadOS so much or even let us put macOS on iPad instead. I use an iPad in an addition to a Windows laptop, and in my use case a Windows laptop is an ABSOLUTE necessity. There’s no way Apple can do their “let’s make him buy a Mac AND an iPad” strategy on me. So it is just annoying for no reason.
We've been limiting ourselves to pre-2015 Macintosh models with no more iPhones allowed in the family. Not a big deal. Copy+Paste is what keeps me using my 2013/15 macs as remote terminals (RDP) to our resident Windows 11 machine. If Linux would implement propery copy+paste I would switch over coz I'm just as cozy on Linux as I am MacOS.
I don't see a need for an iPad but my wife loves hers even though she also has a MacBook Air and an iPhone 15 pro Max... Which seems redundant to me, but often she'll take it traveling instead of bringing your laptop to do minimal work stuff or just to use it as a TV. Still seems unnecessary to me
@@TSTechGear I think she might be... I think I'm locked into Androids for the foreseeable future while editing on a MacBook and occasionally gaming on a handheld PC. I'm all over the place!
The iPad is not trying to be an iMac. I say it depends on what are you using an iPad for. Christopher Lawley a RU-vidr runs everything on the iPad. I get it you fell out of love with the iPad that is a valid statement. As I said it is a matter of preference and use case scenario. Mind you the iPad is my favorite tech of all time.
My thoughts exactly. It all comes down to which OS you prefer. To me MacOS feels heavy and ancient for everyday tasks and I find it very distractive while working/writing on an iPP with a MGK feels much more focused. I use my mac exclusively for when I need access to desktop applications. To each their own I guess.
@@Bob-uz4ov because of apples anti-consumer behaviors they only have 8-16gb ram, it's soldered. and it's expensive for what you get. 64gb ram is my minimum, even my 21 iMac2017 I can put64ram it's a better machine in some regards, has its own screen. You can get something more useful with 600+, trust me avoid these, you're getting a bad deal
If i'm not mistaken, using 120hz instead of fixed 60hz is more power efficient as 120hz is variable, so it can go as low as 2hz or something like that. I get what you are saying, once you go to 120hz it can feel hard to go to a 60hz device, but it still shouldn't be a dealbreaker. I use a 120hz phone and a 60hz monitor for my PC and I'm doing just fine. also, as many other people have mentioned, you can turn it back to 60hz.
The only aspect of this that applies to me is the slowness of performance and time it takes to load files in older tech. Dont know why android didnt get a single mention when theres far more options in those specifications. Like right now I have an option to buy very good tablets all with different perks and specs. I currently have a phone I love with the worst brightness (cant see crap most of the time) and a oneplus tablet with 2x more brightness and I think to myself that its brighter than my phone but it doesnt make my phone experience any worse. It only reminded me how awesome high bnrightness is. If anything it makes me appreciate it more and same with 120hz. I turn it on then off then on again after it gets old then remind myself how awesome it is.its a bit like when you leave your family and start missing them making the revisiting experience wonderful and tearful experience.
Same thing with video games... as a kid I used to play games at 20 to 30FPS It was fine. many years later got a much better PC and I played mostly on 60FPS. After you get used to it going back to 30FPS just looks slow like I'm gonna get motion sickness. And so begins never ending quest of upgrading your PC to keep up with the 60FPS or more.
Yes when you use a 12 year old phone you can't get over how slow it is... Complaining about high refresh rate is crazy. More like everyone else should adapt to 120hz, instead of going back.
You are saying you hate high refresh rates but i bet your Monitor is running at 144Hz or something like that lol. If you use 60Hz in 2024, you are just stubborn to adapt to the current new Standarts. The Statement: "Now i cant use devices with 60Hz anymore" is stupid too. By this logic, you could not even work with other Devices that are not using current Specs like maybe a Office PC, which mostly are slow PCs. Just accept that new devices are better than the old ones and they will of course feel worse compared to the newest Tech.
You missed the point of this video. He was talking about switching back from 120hz back to a 60hz display and it looking jarring. That is not an old person problem. I recently threw out my main phone in search of less distraction, I switched back to a 60Hz phone. I couldn't do it, 60Hz makes my eyes bleed literally. High refresh rate Is good on paper, but when you look at like any other display you will regret it
i really hate apple and you because u promote an closed source tech company that all it does is to make the greater but the most cost effective product and then proceeds to sell it to you as a high price , with losing value too , cant wait to buy some apple SoCs and modify them to show the world all you get is just junk because its not used the most efficient and with the most perfomance and for all people that say android is the same is not since its not only a vendor , u can modify the crap out of anything with android or arm SoC in it and its not worth it to buy an apple product its just an e waste company
also 120 hz is not a high refresh rate, a high refresh rate is when u dont see the screen changing with a professional camera because it means it stays the same and you dont get as much eye strain
@@MihaiMan-ir5tf your statement is wrong is mutiple different fundamental levels that i am not even gonna bother correcting, you just dont even know the basics. Yeah thats all just wanted to clown on some bozo so dosent even understand refresh rate in 2024, how old are u ? 78?
@@aaronj3245 atleast the company named apple cant get money for resales but the fact that you can buy locked motherboards of these inteligent devices soo cheap means these arent worth , but are worth buying as parts and microchips because u can hate a tech product as whole but u cant never hate some microchips and why is that? because these can have tested functionality trough the pins as debugging and x ray scans to see what is inside and with these u dont need any datasheets or anything related to any microchip because u need electronics knownledge and software knowledge with these 2 you can modify any chip with pins and make it work as u want the only problem is very few people see this vision
So, you don't like something that is new because you feel irritated to go back to old tech. Wow😮. By that logic, I don't like smartphone because when I go back to non-smart phones they irritate me. Just to point out, I was fine with non-smart phones at that time. YOUR VIDEO DOESN'T MAKE SENSE SIR.
I get that... Every iteration of everything makes it hard to buy the last generation of something even though it's way more than good enough for everything... Unless you're gaming on your phone, that high refresh rate seems extra unnecessary. On my Google I have my "full resolution" and 120hz turned off most of the time
The iPad Pro is know for it's amazing display. Not only does it have 120Hz, the same as your iPhone 15 pro, but it has better colors. As for disabling high refresh rate. Settings > Accessibility > Motion > Limit Frame Rate. Gotta love Apple's weird knack of adding really useful features in the "Accessibility" page.
Great review. Debating between this and macbook pro m2 pro. Did you ever use the satechi hub with ssd ? Im wondering if the portability is worth the extra cash for the laptop 💻. Such a hard decision 😢
I'm so damn sick of the negativity too. it bleeds into me and i can't deal with it and i become this overly negative person and it's just so frustrating. i couldn't tell her anything without her putting it in the most negative light possible, THEN making up imaginary landlord powers so she can tell me what to do. what a great "mother"
