Palm cay is a poorly run place , was just purchased by zacco. , as of today there are no working amenities no pool, no hot tub , no pickle ball courts all the game area horseshoe bocce etc have been closed for over a yr. Yard waste pickup was done away with. I’ve lived here for little over ten years and regret buying in here place has been going down hill every yr.
Dude this is AWESOME still loving the hair man! I did computer work at the seven sisters - never seen anything but you always felt like someone was really watching you
@@StevenBillington it’s a beautiful place, I think there is three separate dwellings if I remember right. Now, in full disclosure, I could have felt like someone was watching me because I was fully aware of the folklore lol I know some other places locally that are supposedly haunted we should do some investigation - I can talk my way into any place so it would be legal. Just saying would make for great content
@@WoodsPrecisionArms yeah I think at one point there was a lot more to the property than there is today. And most definitely, Ocala has its fair share of haunted places! There used to be a guided downtown ghost tour I wished they never would of gotten rid of
@@StevenBillington I think I can get us into the seven sisters if you want to try some ghost investigation - I have no damn clue how to do that, but, it would be fun to figure it out
Best video ever explaining services in this community!! You’re on top of the market there. I had an appointment to tour there a couple of weeks ago but canceled it because we found a house in another community. But I was always curious about it and I appreciate you giving this information. Hope you’re doing well and I wish you great success with your business! God bless!
I think we are looking at 2025/2026 for the project to really begin. Some of the houses have already started being removed to accommodate the expansion
Ugh I had 2 rental properties in Ocala. Ocala is mostly septic, very very few stores and malls that aren’t far drives. A lot of properties that are not developed but started never finished . If you like country this is the place for you. But don’t let Ocala fool you into thinking it’s crime free. We had numerous break ins, thefts and kids that broke in to party and destroy our rentals. We had one rental they stole every appliance including the bladder to the water pump. AC etc. sold both properties 2 years ago took a a huge loss but guess what no more headaches!!! Owning rentals in Ocala you will never ever make a profit even in today’s market. Oh 1 more attraction Ocala is the capital of sink holes. Had 1 one of those too on the property good luck getting homeowners insurance in Ocala! Nooooo thank you
Hey Rene! Well, activity has had its ups and downs the past couple of months. Some homes we do still see fly right off the shelf, others have been sitting a bit longer on the market. There's a lot more inventory to choose from now too, which probably explains some of the days on market, as buyers now have more options to choose from.
My son and I love your Slimer tattoo! Our family happen to be big Ghostbusters fans! 🚫👻 Thanks for posting videos about Ocala! I love Victorian houses 😍
I hear that. HOA’s are for certain people who want those amenities. I’d estimate the fees here are about $2,400-$3,600 per year. There’s different sections with a different monthly amount. Some sections in here include lawn care too.
I remember six gun as a kid I have pictures somewhere - for the longest time you could explore still standing building that was in the woods behind the six gun plaza but those are long gone.
I’m assuming the HOA dues are $6 thousand a year? Three clubhouse and golf course…..maybe HOA more than $6 thousand? Sometime the house is affordable but the HOA kills it.
