@@robbieb2011 Hi Robbie…thanks for the comment. As you may know, the grate is through bolted into the engine compartment, so it would require resealing. I decided not to risk any future leaks by going this route. I also didn’t have sealer on hand at the time.
Looks good to me. Carbon seals generally outlast the life of the motor as long as they aren’t ran out of the water for long, and the motor is properly aligned
@@mr.fantastic7756 Thanks for asking. I did hide out under a bridge for about 10 minutes during the worst of it, when there was lightning. Once that passed, I kept going because it was the only way to get to my marina. I have a lifetime of experience in the bay, so that also plays a part in judging the conditions.
Hi Calvin…if you are careful, there really is no reason for scratching your paint. However, I will admit that during a recent trip, I rushed the take down and did cause one of the poles to lightly ding and scratch the side paint. It was 100 my fault and could have been avoided.
Hi there…thank you for your concern. I am happy to report that everything is fine. Life has just gotten rather busy making it more difficult to get out on the water to make videos. More to come in the near future.

Go get a lawnchair ($15) an umbrella ($10)a cooler full of soda & water($25) pack of smokes,Zippo lighter($30) sunglasses ($1) you can put him in the corner of your LAB. Let him sleep. DARPA field tested, thermal sights for our LAVS. SILENT OVERWATCH, awesome equipment! Sadly the power,battery you had to leave the MASTER POWER ON. Fuel pumps off the Nstring. Great gear, massive draw. Silly me..multimeter, electronics grunt. Figured out. you don't plug into the "instrument panel" just plug into the cannon plug for our nose winch?" They didn't like that. Gear was GREAT, we NEED!🤗 Design from drawing board to prototype..fail.
What idiot engineer put the optics on the feed tray cover,?it's hard enough at 1200 yards with iron sights..PLEASE, SOMENODY listen to us BEFORE you design & field test this CRAP. GOVERNMENT Contract!?! Great..testing criteria ix BULLSHIT
