This is a very hard match for someone like this guy Yukara, who seems to rely on his smash and backhand. A more "hard worker" type player, who keeps the shuttle in play and has fantastic footwork, would be better at making an older retired player's life difficult.
The perfect example of why playing only fancy game with very less skill is useless in badminton. If you can't control your errors, then you are no better than ameteur.

For instance - The cross court net drops were wack af, backhand pushes might look impressive but did he win any point? His tactical approach was outright dumb. Who on Earth plays a backhand clear that high when he clearly has the backhand wrist strength to play it flatter? He was giving PG enough time on clears to literally play any shot he wants to. And if diving seems impressive, it's not buddy. Just look at the separation between his legs when he is at the centre. A clear indication that this guy is prepared to dive even before his opponent has played the stroke, and this is the reason why he couldn't reach to PG's drops at all. This guy's net play is horrible across all fronts and the smash placement? He was spoonfeeding PG. Further, don't play a China smash when you can't give direction. What else do you need? You can't even say this player is skillful enough to compete at international league.
