I noticed you were using the Nvidia control panel to change to 144hz, I managed to be able to change my refresh rate in the windows settings, the options for the higher refresh rates are present here. Hope this helps?

I just make these videos for fun, and this one is like a year old. I work full time, and at the time of this video I was going to college while working retail. If you want, you could create a channel and make your own reviews! That's the cool thing about RU-vid, anyone can upload. I'm just some dude who works 9-5 and makes videos for fun, I don't have the time nor funding to operate on the same level as someone like MKBHD or LTT.
@@releaseradarYT thats a bummer, you were think Microsoft being affiliated with pc and xbox you would think these companies that make these would make it supported for xbox also and not only foe pc
I love the borderlands series! I've played through 2 and 3 several times, and while I only played 1 and the pre sequel once, I love the games. Especially 2. It is in my top 5 games!!
Very much so appreciate the review! just bought this monitor yesterday and it'll arrive in a few days, im biting my nails here cause i really hope that darker setting games don't look bad because of the contrasts, I've been leaning for IPS because of color accuracy and video editing and gaming, even up to now would you still recommend this is as a good monitor? -a fellow subscriber

All right, so for anyone trying this. This video is a bit out of date. Just download the files, take the files out of the "Drag me" folder, and ignore the other one. I didn't need it. Then drag the anti cheat ones into the games normal anti cheat folder. Click replace. Now drag the remaining files into the main "Wildlands" folder replace again if it pops up. Now launch the game. it may take a minute to get past the starting session, but it'll happen. For me, an error will pop up. I'll click cancel, then click launch again, and it'll work. I can make a video if enough people are struggling. I got it to work, and im playing it through xbox gamepass on PC
i was gonna play the trilogy on my steam deck now that I just bought it but it linked WD2 to the wrong ubisoft account lol, seems you cant switch ubisoft account on steam deck, just logs into the wrong one every time :(
@@embedyt that sucks and seems very much like a Ubisoft issue. Maybe try going to desktop mode and finding Ubisoft connect on that? Then swap the account?
@@releaseradarYT sadly isn't that easy cause of how the Steam Deck and Proton work, it's really convoluted to get to Ubisoft Connect. Even when you do, the change to the correct account doesn't persist and just reverts back when the game starts :(

Was this the steam store versions or were you running them through the steam launcher? Also did you need to do any tinkering or did they work out of the box?

It fiiiiinally went on sale. Just bought it for about 6 Canadian 🎉 it's installing now. I have the newest one and didn't care for it. I heard eildlands is the better one❤
Great vid. Also, the "mouse acceleration" thing you were talking about on DOOM Eternal is in the control settings. I think it's called mouse upscaling and im pretty sure it applies to keyboard and mouse and controller. Also, you can turn down mouse smoothness if you feel like it moving slowly or with a slight inlut delay (again, i think it applies to bout keyboard and mouse and controller).
