Thanks, was looking for an honest review of usage. Awaiting my Ally these days, more going to use it while Im not staying at home. Also super nice that it can double as a laptop so I could actually do remote work on it with a dock, monitor and keyboard/mouse.
Got a Z1 open box at best by for $350 in “Good condition “ but honestly it looked new lol had a lil problem after updating, my screen would go to sleep all the way at first and sometimes wouldn’t wake up. I got scared but I tried resetting the entire system, deleting everything and restarting it & after updating again everything is working great. Glad I grabbed the ally even though that happened lol btw I’ve owned the Steam deck and the One X Player 1s Intel
For 350 you got an awesome deal! It's worth it for that just to use as a desktop replacement. Even for 500$ it seems a pretty good deal compared to similarly priced laptops.
Thank you so much for supporting ROCKBROS products! Your feedback means a lot to us, and we're delighted to have your support. Rock on with ROCKBROS!🚴♂👏
Those crank arm self extracting bolts aren't easy, I put a milk crate under the crank arm, (under the pedal could be hard on the threads of the crank arm), if you don't have a breaker bar, a pipe, or old handlebar will work, just sip it over the longest 8mm allen you have..
Thanks, been wondering how they looked in high excursion. Off topic:. Check out the PWM on the monitor. Lots of people don't believe us when we say PWM gives us eye strain and headaches. The monitor blacklight is literally strobing (on/off). We need to call it strobing and NOT "flicker". /Rant off.
I cannot comment directly as I have not heard their entry level series and haven't had extensive listening experience with any of their speakers. Highs on these are pretty good to my ear, but that's somewhat subjective. Good clarity and detailed just on the edge of sharp at times without ever quite crossing the line. Lows are good but with pretty serious drop off around 60-70hz, by my guess. I predominantly use them with a subwoofer, which I think might actually clean up the mid-range slightly. Biggest thing I noticed though has to be the clarity and soundstage improvements coming from the Andrew Jones sp-bs22lr bookshelf set. I would also describe them as a revealing set of speakers that can sound excellent with a high quality recording or just good with lower quality music.
@@tcv4 nice review man, planning to hook with a cambridge am10 very soon, just searching the right pair of speakers, and from my personal taste in sound i like the highs coming from metal tweeters vs soft domes.
Hi, I am about to buy this Polk S20 for my Stereo set up(Purely for stereo), I don't get a chance to audition those but going blindly. Since you have his siblings(S15) what is your thoughts on those for music ?
Manoj Madhavan I like them a lot! I use them primarily for music and I think they're pretty great on their own, but I have since paired them with a 10" subwoofer for better low end. I think the larger S20's would be fine without a subwoofer for most genres of music.
This was just dumb--while these speakers have good excursion--the more they move the more distortion they will have. Yeah, they gonna move on some music but what you're showing is just stupidity---you're not too smart when it comes to speakers.
UH Gerrod, the sound in the video that you're hearing is Not from those speakers. The video was made to show you the motion of the cones. The music was from a recording not played by these speakers. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Hey John, i see you in every polk audio video... Do you work in polk company? I need a help. Must know the "deep"of the S15, becouse the nominal measure in the brochure is wrong. I need to know only the deep of the wood part.
You think POLK S15's have bass output? Checkout ELAC B5's which are the same woofer size & roughly the same price. The impressive POLK output is, well impressive. But, the ELAC B5's have 4 x the bass output and their repro of the musical bass notes is supernatural for their size & price. From $199-$229 the ELAC Debut line is unmatched. POLK Signature line is exceptional too in it's price but it's musical tone & tactile output do not approach the ELAC Debut line. I do give POLK the Win for looks though. POLK Signature Line is the best looking speaker in it's price range. Without a doubt. Kool presentation by the way! ~ peace
Mykal Fury The B5s do claim to play a little lower, but I didn't buy these for their low end; they're usually crossed over to a sub. If I was running stereo I would have bought the S20's that claim to play down to 39hz. edit: Lol, I just wanted to look at excursion here
my corded model has that same spool and cap and I managed to fit 095 ugly line in it and it still auto feeds it but saves a lot of line while cutting. the spool hook slot did bend slightly when hooking the line after wrapping the new line but did not break .
if it fits there might be two instances : 1) It works, but Power = Volts * Current and if you decrease the volts from the source (battery), then a higher current draw will happen from the same source (battery again!). That mightn't be cool in the long run 2) These batteries have all sorts of gimmicks and voltage regulators built into them, so its possible it may not start at all. Long story short, try to pair a 36 V battery on a 36 V tool .
Yeah, that seems about right. I might have only got about 40 ish minutes running on one, but that's more trimming than I usually do at once, lol. Thanks for watching.
Really appreciate your video, especially where you showed how to remove the battery at 3:40 since the instruction booklet did not show or explain it correctly.
