My Uncle had one named, Kizzy. What a great little girl she was. She wouldn't fetch sticks but rocks. You could throw it rock and if it landed in a pile, she would bring back the rock that you threw. She was different like that. R.I. P. Kizzy and may you have lots of rocks over the Rainbow Bridge.
I had 2, 1 male & 1 female. The male passed away when he was only 3 months. My female dog is nearly 2 years old. She loves being with us and doesnt like to be left at home alone
Had a male and bitch dachshund for the best part of 16 years until I lost the male. The bitch lost her comfort blanket and went totally withdrawn and I really thought she wasn’t long for this world. Had the opportunity to get another male pup but was unsure if introducing such a young dog to an elderly lady was such a good idea. My vet said that it would either finish her or give her a new lease of life. Thankfully it was the latter and she went on for a further 2 years, she was a totally different dog, played with him and put him in his place when she had to. Currently still have the male dachshund who shares the house with a female Pembroke corgi.
I got 2 from same litter. Boy and girl dapples. They were only 2 months old when I got them. The boy is deaf and have goofy eyes. He always follow the girl like an older sister. The girl is the smart one and the one who picks up my commands easily.
That Doxie looks like my very first dachshund I got when I was 4 years old. I'm now 61 and haven't had a Doxie since I was 4. I just got a long haired chocolate pie make named Charley. He's going to be my last dog. I wanted my last dog to be a Doxie like my first dog. I also have a chocolate lab and a sheltie. My three amigos and they're inseparable 💕
Love this video, I am a cat person but the same rule apply. When I met my husband if he wasn’t passing the test of the cats he would never got married with him
My favorite dog breed is Dachshund ❤ Dachshunds are so cute, smart, playful and cuddly, and always ready for new adventures ❤ They are great personalities ❤ Thank you for the useful video
Best dog breed ever. I just lost my little buddy a month ago. He would have been 17 in February. He was so awesome. It's gonna take me a long time to get over the loss. Mine had no cons. I loved everything about him.
Don't invite me over your house. I do hope that you want people that you have unruly disrespectful pets that sit on the furniture. They belong in the backyard. But I love you anyway
Where do they get this drivel? They don't provide any research proof, just a long list of stereotype rumors that never die because they get passed around the internet, repeatedly, said by some computerized voice. That's not proof, that's just more rumor mongering click bait. I have two female dachshund littermates who are 2 1/2 years old, and a third female dachshund from a different breeder who is 2 years old, so six months apart, and they get along beautifully, and always have. They are not problem barkers. They are not food aggressive. They are none of the stereotypes this video is trying to promote. They are happy, loving, and the best decision we have ever made in all the 40 years of owning dogs that I've had.
