hey im rikki i just review car and truck stuff and test parts out!. i get to the point on what really matters and what people want. plain and simple thanks for watching and keep watching for more things to come! and i will try to answer your comments or messages that day or as soon as possible! subscribe.
Honestly I didn't change them out cause they were "bad" I changed them out just for reassurance mainly. The boots were ripped but I couldn't really tell if they were bad or not but I got these cause they are alot bigger and stronger then the stock ones and if I wanted to do boosted launches I wouldn't have to worry about snapping them in half
My 2006 tahoe makes pops on turns when the weight shifts to either side, do you think it is the body mounts or is it the torsion bar cross member bushes?
I didnt but I've heard it's awesome or the same as the S&B so I'm just going to stick with these. I'm happy with my ride now. Much better then the worn stock ones
@@rikkidiesel fuck I was hoping I could’ve had the easier option of the relay, there’s no way I can install a relay? I have no idea how to do the wiring shit
@elemental6711 yeah it's so nice on these older chevys but the resistor is easy just splice it between the negative wire or it's the positive I can't remember lol it's one or the other it's not bad
If thr buttons work but the light doesn't. I have a video on where the fuse is at for that under the dash. Mine went out too and I found that fuse and fixed it and now they light up
You keep saying how east it is but dont actually show where you hook it up exactly your showing a gauge and the copper wire in the engine bay. Show where exactly its hooked up and to what part specifically.
yeah i once sanded to Metal and painted an entire work Van for $500 including the paint and clear , 😢 took me 3 days the owner said to help but he didnt , i shoulda took the $200 tip he offered , i later jumped into Collision frame work and more in dept things vs easy money , yeah u coulda sanded the whole car then prime it at the 180 grit or 320 , primer does MAtter !!! im working at some shop and their primer is not doing it like other primers ive worked with and its expensive aswell , and its 2k , yeah jst make sure to spray it 2nd time after the first spray mildy dries well u can let it dry completely if you want but when ur on time and do this for money at a shop yeah time is a factor , i managed to peel off all of the paint with a speed sander , people that sand homes for painting have some , the home depot is truly a good friend , but yeah for $100 u can do it yourself w a single stage gallon from Ebay or Amazon , or just spray rustoleum , im jst truly impressed because its true !!! Rustoleum is way more Durable !!!! and cost effective , this proofs car makers arent so Smart at times
I bought these speakers back in 2014 the first pair I had were the SPR‐17LS to replace some MA Audio and Some Orion / West Coast Customs-650cs because the glue had come undone around the cone, about 1 year after I tried to get another pair of the same ones but they had been discontinued so I had to settle for these. I put them in my rear doors o my Vw Bora/Jetta MK4. They hit hard but not as hard as the previous model I still have them till this day. I am thinking of putting them in my 2013 Toyota Yaris as they cannot fit in my Bmw... I managed to save them by Glueing them. So now I have 8 6.5 component speakers and tweeters which have been sitting for years and just like PS1/SEGA MEGA DRIVE-GENESIS they need to be played... I cannot have shit collecting dust. I might be old now,but back in the day that Vw Bora/Jetta hit hard... Now its time for Little Tokyo Oi Oi Oi.... I want to put the 12 type R in The BMW I just checked I believe I killed the type R and got A Pioneer 12😢 Big up all the way from London England 👌
Lol thats cause it's fresh in this video and with 5% on the other windows it looks darker but yeah if u had someone else with actual 35% it's a big difference. I'm doing 35% when I get a new windshield this year
Just replaced mine last night. I had to swap them this way as I am embarrassed to say this, but I couldn’t get the airbag clips apart. I had every intention of taking the steering wheel off and just doing it the right way but I didn’t want to break those air bag retention clips and cause a bigger problem. Twenty year old clips tend to not be very forgiving if they have never been apart before. And yeah, the bottom left is the pain in the ass as there is next to no give in the wire harness. Probably spent 20 mins on it alone. Top two were done in 10 minutes combined. I already had the pick tools, got them free at HF, ITC member. Got the SWC buttons off of Amazon, along with a couple other switches and parts. Truck looks a lot better now without the peeling buttons.
Used stiction eliminator in my 2001 Powerstroke 7.3. To my surprise it made a big difference. Use it and their other products regularly. Also important as an engine lubricant due to low sulfur diesel these days.
2007 classic 253k miles started a slight surge but seems to be running good but that little surge I do have a code with that turbo sensor do you recommend changing it I did change the fuel filter because I did have water in my fuel
@kozmicflush980 lol oooo yeah dude me too. I got this off ebay years ago like atleast 5 years ago and I needed to worder another cause this one is ripping and I can't find the same one 😰 it sucks cause I can't find a blue bowtie cover one
@@rikkidiesel lol cheers brother good cold beer after hard work! Building trucks ain't easy but it's an addictive hobby!! Sux the cover is coming apart, still looks great tho!!! Your duramax looks incredible bro 👍🏾 One of my favs on RU-vid
I changed mine yesterday. I have an LMM. It had original altenator and pulleys with 117,000 miles. Altenator needed replaced, so I switched it all out while I had it torn down. What a difference
These are spyder brand tail lights. I have a video of the tail lights on my channel and also in that video there is a link to buy them in the description
@rikkidiesel no way!!! I always see people swapping these out but the newer style shifter always sits lower for some reason. If this sits at the original height I'll have to order one
At the very end of the video you said that you didn’t do the install. Does that mean you paid someone to install the water pump? If so, how much did something like that cost you? I ask because, eventually, my water pump will go out and I’m not sure if that’s something I want to tackle on my own or just pay someone to do it.
Yeah I got quoted from a couple of shops and it was $730 to $1k. I obviously got the better deal lol but yeah my deal was I just didn't have enough time and a place to do it. Cause my worry was It would take me forever to do and if messed up that damn worry some o ring I wouldn't know until I got it all buttoned up and it would leak so then I would have to rip it all up again and I just didn't want to risk it and I just paid a shop to do and I could have my truck back in one day rather then me mess up lol I just use my truck everyday so I couldn't be down for longer then a day
@@rikkidiesel that's a lot of work to do. You have to take the whole front of the engine apart. If you never done that job before you will be there for a long time
@@rikkidiesel your right. I should be using the right words on here. Not the whole front of the engine but it seems like that when you're doing that job. Keep them videos coming
