I see your using 22mm board you think its possible to use this technique with 18mm? As i have some shaker doors to make and love this idea of doing it this way but im using 18mm MRMDF

Great video. Do use 22mm for strength and to stop the doors from potentially bowing? Thanks 🙏

I think they are stronger 12mm green mdf then plant your 70mm x 9mm green mdf stiles and rails and muntins, dont get me wrong your ways good, well done, like you say that round over or chamfer realy makes them look the dogs doodas

Great video, thank you. Do you ever find your stiles wobble around a little during the glue up? If I don’t clamp between 2 long, straight edges I've sometimes had the stiles slightly off straight which obviously becomes very apparent in the door gaps. Could be to do with me using basic quality 18mm MDF rather than the good stuff you use! Thank you

Hi, do you glue the panels as well as the tenons, or are the panels left loose? Thanks

Excellent tutorial, thanks for sharing. Just a question regarding the 9mm loose tenons: Are you using 22 or 19 mm mdf on the rails and styles? Love the roundover detail. It reminds me of v-groove flooring. Much easier on the eye, not to mention more forgiving.

Thanks! I use 22mm Finsa Hidrofugo with 9mm centre panels and loose tenons. The groove is cut with a 9.5mm slot cutter

Do you think 19mm mdf with 6mm panel will be adequate? I can’t get 22mm where I am!!
