Hey everyone CAPTAINBEARDZ here. I'm a laid back positive gamer that likes to post gaming content ranging from pc to mobile games. Come join the squad and SMASH that subscribe button and have a positive day. Peace Out
I realize I'm late on this- but it's the most boring game I've ever played. It really sucks because the dungeons are so good! The game feels great when hundreds of enemies are Zerg rushing you! But the two hours between dungeons- hitting G to boost my hoverboard- was making my brain turn to mush. It's been a year, and I'm still annoyed by the amount of time I spent in the game pressing G, and not doing dungeons with friends.
My favorite is when they send a message being toxic. It just shows me how poorly the persons on the other end has been brought up. Lack of good parenting can show through other peoples actions.
Tsubasa is giving an attack buff while Claudia is giving a damage buff which means that even at a lower % Claudia buff will increase ur damage by a lot more. That said tsubasa is on standard so getting her stars is way easier.
My current team I suppose you could say is Samir, Huma, (got lucky with these two and just got Huma to 1 star) and Ene, but I also swap in Pepper or Bai Ling at times. I'm close to getting this ticket and I'm not too sure what would work best with my team. I doubt I'll ever do any sort of PVP in this game and keeping up with the meta isn't something I'll bother with. Any thoughts?
A support could work quite well. You have a tank and dps so maybe a healer such as Coco could be quite nice. You could also look at the other weapons and see which interest you. Most likely you will end up with all of them.
I can say no one is having fun with this game. Everyone is after meta. I played till level 30 with the two healers. Then got Molten Shield and King. Now everyone is like go for Dual EM cause it is DPS resonance but I picked the claymore cause... Yea, I break shield fast. And that's way more fun than dealing damage.
The most important thing is that you have fun. Me personally I couldn't careless about the meta if I did I would've rerolled for nemesis. I choose my Huma shield over nemesis all day lol
That's a full support team which is for sure not a bad thing but if you want more beef I would recommend Meryl, King or Huma for tankiness. But if you want damage Samir.
@@CAPTAINBEARDZ1 rn I have king, Meryl and cocoritta, and now the gurl with the shield. I regret picking king honestly, should've just gotten a dupe for Meryl buh I love the vid thks
Depends if you want Variety since you have no flame weapons King or Huma isn't a bad choice. From my research Tsubasa is really strong with a dupe in her so that isn't a bad choice either. So if I were you I would choose between those three. Also forgot to mention what you prefer matters to Pvp or Pve. If only interested in Pvp then dupes don't matter since all characters are maxed.
Good points. Meta will change, just play the most fun weapons you have. I also got a Huma early, and she's more fun than some of the "better" ones I got later. I have Samir and Crow too, but Crow needs a star. Samir is cool, but after similar investment Huma still does more damage.
You can beat all the content in genshin with just the characters the game gives you. You play with the ones you like meta means nothing in genshin it is a easy game. Hope you cover all the stealing tower of fantasy developers have done from mihoyo and others. Tower of fantasy will have a strong meta since there is PvP and other world bosses that need more then one person to beat. You don't judge a beta gacha since it will change since you can possibly get multiple five stars and stop spending money.
Gacha system in ToF ofcourse super, but how game will be make money? For example in Genshin even though you can’t get all characters and weapons for free in Genshin, thanks to the money earned, developers can make new territoies every second patch and all these beautiful cutscenes, events, etc. , but where ToF developers will take money to develop their game?
was hyped for this game for years.... cant even get past lvl 35... i fucking gonna throw my monitor out of my window if i walk to another npc and press G
You also have options as a solo in Tarkov. Whether talking sneaking past or the fact that teams have to be wary of killing teammates. All I see in the Cycle is squads having the numbers advantage then piling a load more advantages on top of them. We not even out of beta and already it is clear just how big a problem squads are. It would appear the game is already in a squad meta and I'm seeing nothing which evens out these advantages.
@@CAPTAINBEARDZ1 Yeah same at first I thought I was just getting really unlucky but very quickly realised that the advantage squads have is just so over the top that without major changes I don't don't see solo play as viable let alone fun. After seeing reddit, yt comments etc I think we can expect to see some changes down the line. You can't really argue that it isn't an issue anymore as much as the squads would like you to think.
Yeah, Lost Ark is boring. And from your statement that every MMORPG is like this, it doesn't sound like you played Elder Scrolls Online. You brought up WoW as an example as the starting quest "kill 5 wolves". In ESO the game starts off with your character being dragged off to an altar and your heart is stabbed in a ritual sacrifice and it the very first quest is to escape from a hellish realm to the world so that you can then start a very long questline to reclaim your soul. ESO's quests are interesting and heartbreaking. Solving murders. Politics. Racism between the races of Tamriel. Doing murders. Doing heists and thievery. Making hard choices between greed (advancing your character) and saving those close to you. Sometimes there are no good choices. Nothing feels like a fetch quest because the dialog is amazing and everything you do has meaning. Base don your choices NPCs will talk about you when you pass by them. Everything is voice acted, even the NPCs not involved with anything are voice acted. Every single line from kings down to beggars is voice acted. When I log into ESO it feels like I am logging into another world. When I log into Lost Ark I feel like it is so mind numbingly boring that I end up pulling up youtube videos to watch while playing. Lost Ark is a mindless grind of fetch quests with some decent combat.
Agree all MMos deal with this. My buddies who are 200+ hours in pretty much just do dailies now, they told me I can tell you hate the PvE in this game. My explanation was, it's not this game.. It's PvE, in general, I just can't do it anymore it's the same on every game, and rightfully so.. I mean you quest til max level then you gotta quest more..? Very FEW people I'm sure actually enjoy questing, and take their time and read shit but the majority of the population is AS SOON as you grab a quest you want it completed, like this anxiety-ridden seemingly endless race.. that feels like a chore and to me, that defeats the purpose of playing a game so I pretty much just stick to PvP otherwise I'm out. To me, not a bad game, just don't like MMO PvE anymore, only feels like a job.
First and foremost, stating that (insert bad thing here) is also in many other titles is just a bad argument in general. Having the bad aspect(s) in other titles does not excuse Lost Ark from perpetuating the monotony. Moreover, it highlights the fact that Lost Ark could also be considered "basic/safe" in that regard. Another thing you seem to be missing when comparing this game to the others that have the same boring aspects, is the presentation and everything surrounding them. With Lost Ark, the isometric view doesn't seem to lend itself to the immersion and/or story telling aspect of the game. On the other hand, with titles such as Final Fantasy XIV, it's presented in a much more fluid and movie like manner. To be more specific, when playing Lost Ark, I feel like a god playing a character vs. inserting myself into the world like I (and many others) would like to do. On top of that, the unenthusiastic voice acting doesn't really help things either. When you stack that on the run of the mill anime/mmo aspects (the anime power clash(es) with Armen and the dark femboy & the generic light/dark or good/evil cuz reasons "plot") you see from early on, I doubt many others with higher standards of quality are going to keep playing and/or have ongoing confidence. Obviously, I can't speak for everyone. Having said that, I personally can't excuse them for choosing to play it safe/generic for two major reasons. For one, they had MORE than enough time AND the blueprints practically handed to them from the successes/failures of games in the same genre. Simply put, they knew full well what people wanted, what could be improved, and what would work. As everyone can plainly see, they chose to go a LOT more with what would work vs. innovating in any notable aspect. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, they are backed by Amazon. I think it goes without saying that they have more money/resources than any god people may/may not believe in. Knowing that aspect alone just makes me want to go even harder on the game. On a final note, I just want to say that I DID in fact temper my expectations. For even more context and full disclosure, my "main" MMO of choice is FFXIV. Going into Lost Ark, I WANTED it to be great but was willing to settle for it being good enough to be competition for FFXIV and other MMOs. As it stands, however, Lost Ark is very cookie cutter/average leaving FFXIV and other MMOs nothing to really worry about. The only thing it has going for it as of now, is just hype, which as we know runs out after a brief time.
I agree with most of your points, ESPECIALLY on how the view hampers the story telling experience. But I'm going to point out that fundamental game designs have nothing to do with Amazon, because they are only publishing not developing. So their vast capital is only relavent to server performance, translation and communication. All three aspects which I would have to say Amazon has failed on btw.
It's not weird, I have played many MMO's, this is the first one where I can't get past the tutorial without being bored, despite other MMO's also having quests with similar uh, depth, they still managed to have something to keep me engaged, "talk to this person, then talk to that person" can be ok if what they have to say is interesting.
End game is so boring I stand in town and wait for daily’s and resets just like wow… I have lost 7 weapon rolls that cost all the Matt’s you get that day. It’s boring asf. Yes I can do content over and over but why do the content if I don’t get anything to upgrade and if I do it just fails the upgrade.
Lost Ark is boring tho. Why do I feel like going to bed after 30 minutes to an hour everytime I log in. Along with that it's pay to win, just insert cash and hit F4. Yeah, that makes it even more boring.
The mounts in this game sucks. They are just for selling in the shop. It doesn't even make sense haveing mounts in this game. Every time I have to summon it, then I have to dispense it, they when I am summoning it, comes a mob to halt me. Boring. I'm going to try to play it for a month, I sincerely hope this game won't last and collapse.
