The poor eating habit I think contributed to killing him in the end. Higgins was a bit like a snooker McEnroe actually, absolutely brilliant on his day but very erratic, except that McEnroe did actually dominate the game in the early 80s but not the late 80s
He made a 122 break once then played the best snooker ive ever seen up & down the table ,kissed the blue & went right behind the green . Didnt need a snooker just showing he could do it & he wasnt a safety player at all - totally played for
5:12 - Sorry but the guy was a complete ass. He sounded finished there after having been waffling on for 5 minutes, stared as if expecting the interviewer to then continue and when he tries, he doesn't just politely say, "Oh, I was just also going to say..." or whatever, he proper lays into the poor guy and lectures him too. An utter narcissist, self-obsessed, nasty aggressive person who had a completely privileged life - his parents were rich and his uncle was the uber famous and successful film director Sir Carol Reed who got him into movies. Oh he bought a "big huge house" from "the white father's of Africa" did he? Oh, very good, well done 🙄 Just because he was drunk all the time, people somehow think that's really cool.
Paul I'm so sorry 4 what u went though I'm a very big fan of shamless ure such a good guy I get worried my moods change like the wind friends have noticed
Such a rare genius we will never see the likes of him again ok I know he was not a nice person but he was a great snooker player if he was just more disciplined he would have wiped the floor with all the others RIP
He was before his time could you imagine how the final would be like if it was a healthy Alex v o,sullivan what a session of snooker but you might as well dream about it in bed as it would as rare as hen, teeth. ❤
I feel that Ollie was always acting. I don't think dear Ollie was drunk when interviewed, merely acting a part. Sure he probably was a heavy drinker, but he was not stupid either 😊😊😊😊😊😊🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Sorry but he absolutely was drunk all the time, and he was stupid too. Having rich parents, a famous film director for an uncle, being handed success to you on a plate from birth and going around treating people like absolute dirt, lecturing them and berating them over nothing but your own weird narcissistic ego is not being intelligent. Having a posh accent and some fancy words doesn't make him really clever.
I think in this interview, although he may be drunk, I think he's given the interviewer the run around. My brother thinks he is just drunk, and not an act....what fo you think?
