Want to know something? A better casting choice for Betty Rubble should have gone to Marisa Tomei. She has the more exact physical resemblance to how she looked in the original cartoon than Rosie O'Donnell does. If Marisa had turned away the offer, that's an unfortunate loss for both her and the fans of the classic Hanna-Barbara series. Other than that, the rest of the cast neatly brought to the live-action big screen all of the other iconic characters. John Goodman was great as Fred, Rick Moranis is phenomenal as Barney, and Elizabeth Perkins as Wilma was a genius move by the casting director. Additionally, the set design and props were so respectful and carefully recreated.
Oh yes, it's always the abusive Dad. What about the millions of abusive Mothers out there the society won't address and people want to ignore? God forbid if we accuse a woman of being a bad parent. After all, she's always the victim anyway.
It would be great to turn into a human and ghost at will, as a ghost you can fly, be spooky, turn invisible, as a human you can look handsome and bang hot chicks, some wonderfull life....
i forgot this was spielberg, but as soon as i saw that light moving through the wood, i knew it was him. that's his signature shot in every movie. ET, Jurassic Park, Even in Men in Black.
