Just moved up here to Orlando after spending 7 years in Miami, love this place. More lanes added, the better for the beltway. Also, 417/429 for east and west beltway makes it easier to determine location, bettter than confusing inner/outer loop in other cities. Miami $20 in tolls per month, Orlando $20 in tolls per week! 😂
I’m so sick of cities. I live in Miami right now but eventually hope to move to Ocala. I’m a pilot and just want to live somewhere in Florida where the pace is slower, I have more space, people are nice, it’s safe, and there are decent schools for eventually having a family.
Kinda lame (a toll revenue cash grab I assume) that the bulk of the bridge is technically in Hillsborough county, but the ends only touch Pinellas (north) or Manatee (south) counties.
Oak Park Mall was the subject of a 1982 CBS documentary “After the Dream Comes True”, with Charles Kuralt. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jm7K8XhGl7I.html
Nah Mike Is Back Down South In North Carolina Not Up North But Mike Does Have Different HighWay Video’s Of VA As Well As FredricksBurg On His Channel 2:30
Well, so much for a pit stop and grabbing a new state map. Try as I might, I could not find a Local Traffic, NC off US 301, but I guess there's one around there. And all that's needed is an NC 74 to go along with I-74 and US 74 for a hat trick. North Carolina: they never met an Interstate they don't want to build. Or widen, in the case of I-95, which appears to need it.
When driving down I-95 going to Florida crossing the border into Georgia always picked up my spirits. Only one more state to go before Florida was nice but having the third lane was a big deal after the drudgery of the Carolinas.
I was recently in Fayetteville back in December 2023, and I can confirm that has changed since 2020 when I went there time before last. I also heard they’re in the process of bringing it up to eight lanes and raising the elevation to prevent flooding.
South Carolina keeps their interstates two lanes in each direction, just how I like em. I was born in 1934. It seems as if the world has gotten itself into one big hurry
Thumbs up.a really big one.for the pretty fall trees.and panoramic view of ny.pretty blue sky..woulda liked to have seen it on my tablet..i have to return it.quit chargin.damn shame
I began my career with the federal government in Daytona Beach in 1986 and spent quite a bit of time in training in Orlando and always thought it was a beautiful city. Except for some trips to theme parks in 1994, 2000, 2008, and 2011, I haven't spent any time in Orlando since 1993, as I moved to Mississippi, but I enjoyed this. You passed by the building where I had some of the training at the 30:32 mark.
