Bubble is a software development platform that enables anyone to build and launch web applications without writing code. Rather than specializing in one or two aspects of web development (like designing landing pages or building databases), Bubble’s full-stack visual programming interface does it all. That means anyone from first-time entrepreneurs to enterprise-level companies can take an idea from concept to fully functional, scalable reality - faster and cheaper than you could with just code.

hello 👋 I would like to at least know if I create a web application now, if it will be possible to publish it on the stores after the bubble mobile updates in early 2025, or will I be forced to create a new application? will it be possible to publish a web application on the stores?
The web app and mobile app can share a single database, however, you'll need to rebuild in the mobile editor. Simply converting a web app to mobile app would make the app feel like a webpage and not a native app - which has a lot of new elements, features and workflows.
When you refresh the page, the state is being reset to null. You need to click back on 'Settings' to set the state again. Although your users won't be refreshing the page, I do improve on the UX later on in the course. Keeping going!
@@gregory-john Thanks so much for your input your videos are golden im just trying to figure out how to zoom in picture as the preview picture shows empty space within the circle
4:07 The previously set conditional for the Reset Button (When Input Search's value is not empty orDropdown Type's value is not empty orDropdown Skill Level's value is not empty This element is visible) will be removed.
I noticed the 'user type' from the page state button was not passed from the login screen to the user creation in the database..... hopefully covered later? Strange to focus on putting the variable in but then not mention how it is passed to the database? Really enjoy the lessons - Thankyou.
Great question Chris, you're right, I should really have configured the user type in this lesson. It's coming though, in lesson 3.7 we configure this when we sign Hana up to the app.
I am a Python programmer, but at my job, they are using Bubble for a project, and lately, I've been feeling a bit down because I'm programming less and less in Python. Can Bubble be considered programming?
Been building "native" mobile experiences since day 1 with bubble, however, interested to see native touch-related experiences vs. using plugins, and wrapping via BDK
Thank you, Gregory! I definitely enjoyed this course. It has been super helpful, and I love your instructional style. Super thorough and easy to follow. I am looking at building a web app that connects people looking for mental health providers to providers in my community. I have been building it as I've been watching these videos, and I feel confident that I can get it to deployment level soon!
