I am a regular life kind of dude that actually does not like to do outdoor work. However, I do enjoy filmmaking. I decided to combine the two and see if that will even things out. You may or may not just get random stuff on this channel. Guess that is why it is called random randy. :)
Thanks for the video. You just saved my ass. Those really little pieces you said in the trigger housing will fall out, well they did. Your video showed me where to put them back👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’m currently using this for land clearing😂 it’s my first saw and I have been dropping 100 foot pine trees with it. I guess it’s alright? I don’t know any different though, however it’s lasted so far and I’m about 2 months into my project
I’ve just picked up one of these myself only yesterday and it’s a great little chainsaw. I got it for half price lol… cut some good hardwood with it and couldn’t be more pleased.
The Walmart black max saws are exactly the same as ryobi , black and decker, homelite saws but cheaper plus 3 year warranty. and Walmart often has super close out sales. All these saws are the same build type assembled by black and deck with Honda 2 stroke engines. The 50cc black max retail $220, but often on sale $99-$130. 38cc retail $160-$180, sale $60-$100 But stick with the 50cc models no matter what brand. The 38cc style of all these brands have problems.
Ok so do you like your Ryobi ? LOL you crack me up. I received one for Christmas 2 years ago and I have what I think is a leach in my chain oil yet it is still pretty much topped up when I take HIM out hehe It just down poured here for about 10 min just like your pre video. Thanks enjoyed your vid. From Canada eh!
I do enjoy my Ryobi chainsaw. I have a Ryobi weed eater that I feel is a little under powered, but I have quite a bit of property that I take care of. Overall I think they are good value for your money.
Bought this exact same saw at the local flea market a week ago. It was brand new in the case with manual and tool for $40. Yes, FORTY DOLLARS. That same vendor also had the 16" model that was brand new for the same price. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it too, then selling the 16" model on craigslist for $80 to get my money back. As it is, I may sell this 18" model for $100, cause what I really want is the EGO 56Volt 18" battery chainsaw. Tired of picking up a gas chainsaw when you need it and the damn thing won't crank!
They are decent little saws have good power ....do not store them with fuel run them dry before putting up for long storage if you don't the carb will gum up quick they have small passages in the carb
Good review of a cheap saw. If you plan on doing any more falling I'd suggest a hard hat and maybe watching some BC safe videos. A leaning tree like you dropped there is prone to barber chair. Don't take my word for it.
Never run leaner than 32:1 if you want to get the most hours out of the motor. If your saw isn't smoking at least a little, you are not adequately lubricating the motor. This is speaking from 60 years of using and maintaining chainsaws.
@@enjoythesho1992 It's not hard to prove you guys are wrong. I was in prison 30 years ago. We used premixed 50:1 fuel back then. I notice our weed whackers didn't smoke. The maintenance guy said that is why they use premixed fuel. People was putting to much oil in the fuel.
@@enjoythesho1992 Only racist white people have a problem with a black person knowing more than they do. I don't think I know it all. There is too much info out here for me to think I know it all. You would know this if you were smarter. You are not hurting my feelings at all. You getting pissed off about seeing my comments on youtube. Only make me want to keep spreading the truth. I think I'm going to screen shot your comment and make a video talking about you.
@@enjoythesho1992 You are not black. Black people know when we are talking to another black person. There are words only we use. A black person would have never left a comment like yours. You said you see me leaving comments on other people channel. Only a racist white person would have a problem with that.
Iv had one of these for about a year,I have cut tons of firewood with it.only complaint, its hard to start, when its cold.lots of pwr dont waste ur money. On the expensive 2 stroke oil it's all the same,I use old motor oil on my bar ,good little saw.
Picked one of these up from the Homeless Despot last week for $139. Went back to get another chain today and saw they are reg price $199. Lucked out and never knew it lol
You mean when I started it? I engaged it, but then disengaged it because I had the choke on. If you have the choke on the saw will run when it turns on. I try to remember to engage it when I move around, but I forget sometimes.
@@randomrandy5164 you would think that you would engage the chain break before starting but the start instructions say “release break”. That’s odd to me.
