Brandi Carlile is my number one musical idol. My channel is filled with mostly Brandi shows, but also any musician/band adjacent to her as well. Peace, Love, and Music.
Is there anything better than a stage full of BEAUTIFUL LESBIANS!! I'm 62 and yup I'm wearing my jeans & long sleeve tshirts since the 80's. Thank you for making it much better now to be out & happy to be !! ❣️🏳️🌈😁🎸🎤🤙
I miss when she did not have a stylist that thought "blonde mullets are hot" -- she's still one of my all time faves though, I just wish that the fame machine didnt play the "all lesbians have mullets, and now you need to go blonde" thing
I lived in Indianapolis when all this took place. We were so appalled at his treatment. I drove by the church and the amount of vehicles in line was amazing. Elton John and Michael Jackson brought forth the plight of those with HIV and Aids. God Bless Ryan White and his wonderful mother.
The lyrics of Skyline Pigeon were written by Bernie Taupin - only the music was composed by Elton John. I wish @brandiecarlile would acknowledge this fact.
@@drbobperkins Brandi speaks explicitly about how important the lyrics are to her but they were not written by Elton John. Fact. The tune is good admittedly but it’s a tune without the words, not a song. I disagree that in the absence of music words are a poem - the words are themselves lyrics, and quite different from poetry. It is also true that sometimes a piece written as a poem can also be put to music to become a song. Give Bernie credit where it’s due is all I’m saying. You purposely misconstrue my use of the word ‘only’ to suggest I diminish the value of the tune. Pfft!
@@hejweepeach good point. I was a little rude. I do think that there are a ton of great melodies with inane lyrics. Not having good lyrics will not kill a great melody. On the other hand, great lyrics can’t save a horrible melody.
