Bishop Gillespie…what a man, what a man. On January 5, 1990, Bishop ordained me, and eight other ministers under the March of Faith Ministries. We were the first to be ordained, after going through weeks of teaching. I produced the first March of Faith TV Ministry, in Carbondale. He made a mark on my life that will never be erased. He and Mother Gillespie were good to me. “God is moving By His Spirit, he’s moving in all the earth, by Signs and wonders…” He loved singing, prophesying, laying on of hands, and most of all praying. Oh, how I miss the 3-day shut ins. My time at GGT is unforgettable.
Rest in Power Bishop Gillespie. He was a wonderful man who loved people. I have so many life changing stories about Bishop Gillespie. One thing I shall never forget...I was one of the first nine women Bishop Gillespie had ever ordained under the auspices of March of Faith Ministries. Bishop Gillespie has made a mark in my life and so many more that can never be erased. My heartfelt condolences to the mighty woman of God, Mother Addie Gillespie and Pastor Sorrell. Thank you for sharing and protecting Bishop. He will forever be a name that will never be forgotten and fondly spoken of. I can hear him now..."lil' sista you gonna be alright". We rejoice knowing Bishop Charles Gillespie Jr. is now with his Maker living his best life.
