I was 14 and on a family vacation in Maine in August of '74 when I heard this. I believe the station was WTSN Dover, New Hampshire. That voice on the intro; a little over a year later would be saying "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night"
Modern English samples parts from this album on two tracks on their seminal/avant-garde Post Punk album "Mesh & Lace" (1981) released on 4AD records. ✌🤯

Wow, just wow! I can't believe this came out in 1987. LISTEN TO THIS WITH HEADPHONES! Track 23 sounds like the noise part at the end of the first track (Andro) on Lopatin's album Replica. Track 24 is giving me chills. For some reason, they also added a short part of it in Track 30. Nice little detail. Tracks 25 and 31 may definitely be the first Vaporwave/Eccojams tracks ever made. Track 31 also sounds like it could be the ending track in Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 2, which I hope we will get someday. That's all I can say about this album, other tracks are not that interesting. This is the first ever Proto-Vaporwave album, or Signalwave album, I'm not really sure, but I would say Signalwave.
@@SigmundGenerous Nope, for me they isn't. They are just bunch of noisy tracks which is not really my style, I mean most of the Rock tracks.. But Tracks 25 and 31 are definitely the most beautiful tracks on this album IMO. So my favorite tracks are: Track 1-4 (love them) Track 8 Track 13 Track 21 (I like how they tried to represent hell or brutalism in it) Track 23 (as I said before, it's like the ending part of track Andro on album Replica by Lopatin) Track 24 and 25 (Gives me chills, I was listening to this at night while lying on my bed and it was just beautiful. 25 sounds so ethereal) Track 35 (Beautiful, I really like how they just kept the voice singing the lyrics at the end again and again and again and then slowly pitching down the voice, adding reverb and echo. Just beautiful) this is a very interesting album, I don't like all tracks on it but most of them are really nice. Someone needs to rip this album in FLAC. And what about you? What is your opinion on this album?
is bergenost like, scamming? like I read a review on one of their albums on bandcamp, and it said they bought it, didn't get it, contacted the label and got no response. so, did you buy this cassette from their bandcamp or website a long time ago like when it was released? some of their stuff is still for sale. doesn't really mean its a "scam" but, it most definitely means that they are probably inactive on their bandcamp, idk.
Was going through the OPN catalog a few weeks back and was so shocked the first time I listened through Channel Pressure, still can't believe it came out in 2011
