Thank you so much! This is encouraging. I was trying to explain to my daughter the other day why I don't just go for any guy that she thinks I should go for (I'm a widow). Trying to explain to her that I have standards because I starve in the Kingdom not because I'm better than these other men but I'm going to need a strong Christian leader husband because I am a spiritual leader to others. This helps put it into perspective.
The thing with is lonely people is that when we try to reach out to ourselves we find we are a problem even to ourselves! And to think that we who know this depth of feeling would be best at loving each other. It’s truly sad

I do want to eat healthier like drinking healthy smoothies and foods, working out 🏋️♀️ I did lose 40 lbs but I still need to lose weight around my belly area and hips. Okay, so encouraging for younger single Christians, always good advice to value yourself as a daughter of Christ, maybe but why be defined as 'someone else's catch at all?' When did singleness become just ' a waiting stage' instead of a whole, complete state in Christ in itself? - the church so needs to revise its idolatrous perceptions of marriage and biblical singleness. I'm defined by my identity in Christ not by being anyone's spouse.
This is so true. The one thing we have to remember as Christian women is sometimes taking this stance means being single for an extended amount of time.... It means watching those around you get engaged and married sometimes and not feeling like you are missing out or having to settle for less just to say you have somebody.... I think that is the biggest struggle we Christian single women go through... praying for us all🙏🙏🙏
I absolutely relate to you, oh gosh. And I don’t understand how people switch people like- nothing? They are in relationship for 1 week and then they suddenly come up with “Ah yes, I broke up with XYZ and here is my new boyfriend”. I mean as a friend, ok cool for u, but where do they all from??? I cannot even pull one and u have a collection of partners somewhere or? :D
Your SO lucky your camp goes on for 2 weeks my church youth camp only goes on for 2 and a half day 😭 well half a day Friday full day Saturday and half day Sunday 😭
I am single again and I am enjoying my new freedom. I am content to be single forever and celibate forever. I will not date, live with, or marry anyone else! I just want to be by myself and serve God exclusively.
