My name, Jeta, means life in Kosovo-Albanian (my home language) and just like my channel name suggests, my content is essentially me sharing fragments of my life in the form of digital memories.
I am an 18-year-old bookworm who loves romanticising life and being productive. I am currently just about to start my first year at the University of Bath studying Psychology!
Through my videos, I hope to share some advice - tips I have learned through my years in education - as well as motivate and inspire you to get to whatever path awaits you.
I firmly believe that well-being is the first priority and so I also just want to remind you to not only look after your physical health but your mental health too.
Thank you for stumbling across my channel; I appreciate you x
Hi! I’m from Albania too. (Feeling so so so happy to have found you here, such a beautiful heart) . I was at the EXACT situation not only in my first year of Uni but also in my 2 and 3 year. I studied architecture and recently finished my diploma. 6 years of university and still asking myself if i like it or not. I actually deep in my heart wanted to study psychology so i’m curious to hear your thoughts on that. It is all part of the process until you find your way through everyday life. So proud of you ❤️ -Kristi-
Thank you so much will definatly look at the website you gave us for my work experience and personally choosing math, further math, bio and chemistry should i still not start revision ?
Your advice were so good especially for the big mark questions I'm just finish my GCSE and planing on doing A-level psychology, and I heard lot of people saulying that it hard and very specific so what can I do towards the end of summer to prepare for yr12 and I'm going to transition day in the sixth form I'm planing to go so any advice would be really useful and help me prepare, I'm planing on taking psychology, biology and History to do a degree in Psychology
thank you so much !! i have my year 12 mocks in a week and im really nervous and i really liked the table revision resource you made so i think i will try that out :))
Hi, Im not sure if anyone is still watching this video, but I had a question: to study economics, is Bath or Exeter better? Which has a better reputation and overall is best? Thanks :)
Thank you so much for sharing this. Im nearing the end of my gcses and feeling worried but excited for sixth form now. Its so nice to know there is others out there who are struggling. Thank you for being vulnerable to so many out there and for showing them that mental health can be crap sometimes. You are such an inspiration to so many including me. ❤
Thank you for the great advice Jeta, it kind of made me feel better about deferring my exams! Love you and miss you xxx P.s. Hang in there - I believe in you!
Hiya - I just wanted to say it's so brave and kind of you to film this. I think we all experience really hard days in exam season and I've often felt like I'm all alone and everyone else is able to power through (obviously not true!). I recently finished my year 12 mocks and it was a reminder of what a crazy, intense experience exam season is. Normal, balanced life gets put on hold, and is replaced by a near-complete focus on getting the best results possible. Since my mocks ended I've been away for a few days with my family, to do some hiking, and I've barely thought about school at all. Watching this brought me straight back to how I felt just a few days ago, and the contrast between now and then is incredible. I hope I can think back to this video next time I'm under exam pressure, to remember both that everyone experiences this sometimes, and also that it won't last forever. I hope your exams went well, and have a lovely break :)
Congrats for finishing first year! 🎉 Thank you for sharing this and you did all the right things by taking yourself on walks to help with your mental health. This is and always will be the most important thing!! I recently completed my whole degree (on the 14th May) and since finishing I have also been slightly struggling because everything else is so unknown again. X
Thank you for being so real and honest. It means so much to me as someone who is really struggling mentally at the moment due to GCSEs. This really is my comfort channel ❤
I love this and I love you, thank you for sharing these things 🫶🏻I really admire you, vulnerability can be a difficult thing to share and I’m sure this community really appreciated this space and learning from what you are learning. I often put on these videos repeatedly as a form of comfort, to know someone is in a similar position, especially with how mentally draining exam season is!! Xx I hope things are getting better <33 CONGRATS ON FINISHING! So proud :) Ps I completely second your song recommendation in the description 😊
I really appreciate your message - I’m glad it can be a place of comfort for you <3 And thank you - hope your exams are going well and you are looking after yourself!!
the uni days were the hardest for me mental health wise. I constantly felt lonely, overworked, stressed, tired and on the verge of breaking down. I'm sharing this to let you know that you're not alone in this experince... and it does get better, I promise. please put your mental health first! taking care of yourself is way more important than any test/exam/interview 🤍
Take it easy Jeta . As the saying goes : this too shall pass . Having mental breakdowns is very good it shows that you are working hard and good results will come to you soon . I will be starting my law school this july and i already have breakdowns thinking about it .
You don't have to feel lonely/lost, You can have JESUS ❤ He saves, I used to feel depressed, sad, lonely, etc. But when I accepted Jesus Christ into my life, I felt this unusual peace in my heart. I felt joy and I felt God's devine presence. Accept God in your life, surrender your self to him. MATTHEW 7:7 says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Amen 🙏🏾 ❤ God loves you all.
Hey Awesome video! I'm doing AL history this year and wanted to ask you if studying from the text book was enough or should I look into other resources too? I'm doing the French revolution with the text book, revolutions in modern and early modern europe.
I mainly used my textbooks, and my class notes - I didn’t look at other sources too for facts - as long as you feel you have enough facts for every section of the specification you should be fine. Hope that helps x
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. You have described exactly how I’ve felt lately at uni. I too have felt burnt out and like academics is no longer fully in control, and I am trying to let go of the guilt that comes with that as I used to study all the time. I’ve not found many people I connect with either, so it can be lonely and I’m always comparing myself and thinking I should be doing uni a certain way. But what you said about doing the little things is so good, like I’ve been trying to get out on walks and do what I enjoy to get through these last few weeks. People change and grow at uni and that’s ok. I wish I’d seen a video like this when I started as I didn’t know what to expect x
Hi Jeta! I'm currently watching this video from the opposite part of the world, about to do my GCSEs in a week, but I couldn't relate more with you. The idea of failure really makes you feel so "lost and lonely", even though I'm at home with my family. I wish you the best and I'm sure you'll adapt to this change or any other change soon enough!
@@KtT-sn8cy Pretty much anywhere! I personally live in Dubai but there are British curriculum schools that provide GCSEs and A-Levels all around the globe.
@@KtT-sn8cy Every country does have their own system, my parents just chose to put me in a British school. Also IB is actually from Switzerland, but it's popular around the world just like the British system and the American system.
@@wasiqnabeel999 Oh I thought IB was just some international standard, because it has international in the name lol. didn’t know it was originally swiss lol. I’m aware every country has its own system; I just wasn’t aware it is a common thing to use other countries systems depending on schools
“The good things in life tend to come in waves and the bad things also come in waves. So it’s really easy when you’re in either peak to forget the other exists” - Jeta Jeta, you will always be my role model (despite me being older!) ❤
dear jeta, i am just a year below you and picking my offers atm (one of which is bath!) for biology. honestly i've really enjoyed this video and loved your honesty, from one new beginning to the next, gcses, sixth form, i always though i would find 'my people' yet i simply feel disconnected and lonely. the bit about connecting with non-stem people really struck me as i've always made friends with creative people and managed to find a bit of magic in everything. have you heard of the fig tree analogy by sylvia plath? the beginning of this video with the narration was beautiful by the way
Jeta I'm really inspired by your vulnerability and honesty in this vlog! I can't imagine how hard it must be to navigate uni life in an entirely unfamiliar atmosphere! I'm really proud of you and truly believe that you have to give yourself grace! Please never add unnecessary self inflicted pressures onto yourself especially to conform to people's "hyper productive" expectations for your life! You should embrace the creative control you have over your channel! Lots of love and positive energy ❤️🩹
You seem like a lovely, sensitive person. You are proactive and have lots of good coping and self care strategies. If you struggle badly, talking to someone like eg a counsellor can help, getting support from someone who understands and is there for you. I do hope things improve for you. University can be a challenging place for a lot of people. Hang in there.
