I have a few questions. 1) Does the size of the "Snow" matter? Would larger snow move more or float less because it's heavier? 2)Also you mentioned that you used aluminum foil to reduce clay used. That is only for cost-cutting purposes though right? 3)What paints are you using that hold up in sun and also to the constant mineral oil exposure? 4) Lastly, was there a reason you molded a gray Wolf, but then painted it white?
The snow is made for this purpouse, it's very light. The Clay is gray because that's the color of this Clay and I painted it with good acrylic paints, uv resistant
@@CrisCraftsHello, did you need to varnish the wolf/colors or do acrylic paints handle being underwater? I'm making a snow globe christmas gift project for someone and my worry is the paint disappearing into the snow globe some time after.
You have great control of the amount of ink for your subject. Have found ink tense, though wonderful pencils, hard to gauge intensity. As they say though, practice makes perfect. This was perfect. Thank you for sharing.
I got a question i can't really afford that type of clay. i have air dry clay does air dry have negative effects when it comes to submerging in water and the stuff that makes the snowfall?
I don't know if you'll see this comment 3 years later, but I'm wondering how you broke your inktense blocks so perfectly to fit in the pants... any advice?
I'm about halfway through building this one. I purchased it at a hobby shop last year and almost forgot I had it. Thank you for sharing your process with us!
I just found these things at a game store and I thought the display was just so cute so I decided I had to get it. Boy. Was I in over my head. I don’t know what I was expecting but it’s a lot more tedious than I was expecting. And I absolutely love it. I’ve finished a handful of things while I wait for my pliers and stuff
No no no no.No.You see what makes ships in bottles unique and likeable and interesting is how the ship goes through an SMALL hole and fits through without breaking.
I think it’s beautiful regardless. I like the void space. It has a special feeling of size and ocean as opposed to a ship that looks like it shouldn’t have fit (that’s special in its own way) art is art
