It's already been said in a dozen other comments but it needs repeating... That's one of the worst interviews i ever seen. Doesn't ask "What were you feeling when you realized they were reviewing the play and you might have let go of the ball too soon?" AND "Was the vomit because of the run or fear you had fumbled and maybe would live in infamy for the worst penalty ever in a college football game?"
Even though BYU is ranked, they still aren’t getting credit. So many pundits are saying BYU didn’t beat SMU or Kansas State…those teams beat themselves. Whatever, bring on the disrespect.
The entire family were incredible humble and God fearing people. The 3 brothers played in comparable football and their story would make a great movie.
We're in for a rude awakening... The K-State game was an anomaly. Back to reality, a plodding offense that we hope will score more than the opponent. It's all up to the defense. The offense will do its minimum... ARod may still get to hide behind Jay Hill.
BYU coming off a huge emotional win... Baylor fighting to save their season... If history is any indicator, this doesn't bode well for the cougars. Thankfully, the oddsmakers are showing us an as underdog. May the team that to heart.
Except Utah has spent the last 20 years turning itself from a basketball school to a football powerhouse, first by becoming the most respected football program from a non power conference being the first outside of the power conferences to break into and play in a BCS bowl where they completed their undefeated season by blowing out Pitt in the Fiesta bowl in 2004, and their quarterback getting selected first overall in the nfl draft, then breaking the BCS again in 2008 going undefeated and facing the #3 ranked and Nick Saban coached Alabama in the Sugar Bowl where they again blew them out, finishing the season ranked 1st in the country in one of the two poles and after a 2 loss Urban Meyer coached Florida team with 2 losses took home the national championship after Tebow's Gators somehow made it into the championship bowl and beat the only other non defeated team other than Utah. Then Utah joined the power conferences after being the one school in Utah asked to join the Pac12, where they immediately were not only competive, but created a culture and the opposite of other smaller programs who've competed with the big ones through spreading the ball out and putting the one or two guys as good as theirs man'd up in space, and try to out score them. Instead Utah not only built its culture around defense and punching people in the mouth, which Utah has had the best defense in the pac 12 year in and year out, and is known for how hard hitting and tough they are, instead of trying to put up basketball point totals like Boise and others did, Utah punched USC, Oregon, Washington, Stanford, and the rest of the pac 12 in the mouth, were always considered the best defensive program in the conference until they became the best football team in the conference winning 2 of its final 3 conference championships... and Utah is as hard a hitting defense as any in college football... Byu however has gone from a true football power in the 80s, to a good non power conference school in the 90s as Utah became a good one as well, but in the 2000's when Utah immediate shot up to the top of those schools following the hiring of Urban Meyer, who stole a national championship Utah should have gotten in 2008 btw.. then joined the pac 12, became the most respected defensive program in the conference , and finally considered along with Oregon the conferences two best programs, and byu got worse, went independent and had to play ridiculous schools every year, got worse and worse till they got brought in by a bug 12 conference trying to survive after their biggest programs left, and in a big 12 with the lesser teams that stayed BYU couldn't compete winning 5 games their first year... Utah on the other hand is fa0vored to win it its first year a0nd aftè adding several school and better programs and becoming a legit power conference again... so that's the difference in the rivalry toda0y as apposed to 25 years ago... today, Utah is the big brother who's lost once to the Y in Like the last 15 games against each other... Utah is not just the much more0 respected big brother, but a bully who byu should be afraid to have to play in conference every year, cause it's very different than when they both were in the mtn west a quarter century ago, during which time one school headed only up, and the other the opposite way!
You break down a play and don't mention the vomit or the near goal line drop. At one point (1:50) the replay literal cuts and fasts forwards a couple seconds to avoid showing the near fumble play. Come on! Parker's commentary on that would be great! Spencer also avoided these two subjects during his post game interview with Parker. Smells like a cover up!😉 That play though was so incredible though. Great job Parker! This play on top of everything glorious that happened before it, I found myself just saying, "What is going on!"
It's sad to see ARod being able to hide behind the defense scoring and special teams scoring. Not sure how he's fooled so many people for so many years. I'm sure Jay Hill will be gone after this year... He's tired of having to be responsible for BYU winning any games. This offense won't win any games. He's okay with using the clock... tells you all you need to know. He knows his offense, at least under him, won't score a lot of points, so yes let's run the clock. How low BYU has sunk. We don't even have expectations of scoring... we just hope we don't turn it over.
Wow, what a good young man. First teaching, growing to love them and fianlly cherishing them as eternal friends is way better than winning the Superbowl. Good luck Jake, look forward to seeing you when you get back. I am a Couger fan but "Go Cat's"
Did he actually touch the ball initially? Everyone was worried it was muffed and K State was gonna recover but I can’t tell if he actually touched it or not initially.
