Since July 1992, my camcorder has been a faithful companion during all of my IR journeys. Footage is based on trips all over India, including the pristine but almost extinct metre gauge network. I invite you to step into the amazing, sometimes chaotic, yet fascinating world of Indian Railways. Discover what's changed, and what hasn't, in the last thirty years!
I first came to Bangalore in 2007 , and have ever since travelled many many times in Rajdhani Express . It was pure bliss and nostalgia seeing the old ICF rakes of Bangalore Rajdhani again . Thanks Mani !

From this I gather that there were most of the stations at that time. At that time, the railway station was electrified. Many stations were electrified in the 70s and today they have become very old. Now efforts are being made to replace and renovate them so that their electrification life is maintained. Kanpur Central is the busiest railway station in India. Kanpur Central was electrified in 1971 itself. Now Kanpur Central has been newly developed and its electrification has been maintained. Work to promote electrification has already been done in India and today it has become successful. India has the highest electrification and railway network and nowhere else. Thank You for uploading video, it's an great and awesome ❤🎉

Thanks for taking me back to my Teenage days. I lived bang opposite the Wadi Bunder Depot, on the other end of Hancock Bridge, where once stood the Mighty Wallace Flour Mills and the Central Railway Workshop where, Steam Engines were overhauled. I being a Hardcore Rail enthusiast, would deliberately pass through the Workshop on my way to School, St. Anne's and St. Mary's. It's there, I made friends with the Loco Pilots, who, I should feel proud to gave me the opportunity to actually start and maneuver these British Made Locomotives for a short distance during shunting. The Workshop personnel were ever friendly to see me watch them with great interest and often answer my questions in the midst of their work and offer me garma garam Kandha Bhajias. Today I'm 67 +, and still reminence the fond memories of us Students of Joseph Cardijn Technical School in Naigaum's Parel Area being able to visit Central Railway Workshop at Parel, Matunga and Kurla. Thanks to our then, Principal who was instrumental being an ex Retired Servicemen. Between the then Richardson and Cruddass Company and the B.I. T. Blocks were and now still exists the Coach Marshalling and cleaning Yard, Wow ! How I enjoyed those days on my way to St.Marys school. Thanks for taking me down Memory Lane. This is D'souza Peter Retired Mechanical Supervisor.
RECALLED MY MEMORIES ...I HAD TRAVELLED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE YEAR 1998 WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL AND HAD TO GO TO SILCHAR TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS....ENJOYED A LOT BUT MISSED THE GREENERY OF THAT AREA
