Could've saved a lot of time and money by just washing the wheels with soapy water

A touch of dawn and the grease is gone. Literally did this yesterday with a bucket of water, a dollar store scrubbing pud and dawn dish soap, took me 40 mins to do each wheel. I cant justify spending more time detailing something that is going to be dirty again 30 seconds after driving it on the road.
