Joven, or "young," mezcal, is clear and unaged, like an eau de vie. Reposado is "rested" in oak for more than two months but less than a year. Añejo is aged for one to three years, and extra-añejo ages for longer than that.
Jist picked up a 750 boyyle 29.99. 2022 batch. I drank next to arette, el tesoro, g4 all blanco. This is the worst and clearly taste sugar addatives. But at prive i paid fine for mixer
I honestly haven’t tried Tito’s but that’s mostly because absolute vodka and Smirnoff is cheaper and they are both fantastic and it being cheaper than Tito’s but I can’t imagine it’s that much better for the price
It’s been years since I’ve tried Vodka and I just tried Tito’s neat,room temp and I’m surprised at how smooth it is, wasn’t what I was expecting the last neat vodka I tried was Smirnoff and that was pretty gross
In terms of rum if thats the darkest spirit or even rum you've had then you should try Cruzan's black strap rum because nothing else would top the blackness nor the flavor profile of what you thought rum would taste like as a child after hearing that rum was made of molasses (refined sugar byproduct) as a child
Would like to point out you guys both finished your glass. Mmhm my daily because of price point and proof is milder. Easy drink. I got a great bottle when your ready for an upgraded price point
Im drinking titos right now and im very surprised at how little alcohol im tasting. It tastes like it should have the alcohol content of malibu, without the coconut flavor. Much easier to drink than whiskey or other liquors ive had before
I know you guys are further along in your journey, so try the Tequila Ocho Anejo Single Barrel at 109 proof, it will blow your mind. El Cerrito has a store pick on their site for $100 and it's worth every penny (plus you can get $10 off your first purchase when you sign up for their newsletter). Coming from bourbon, 80 proof tequilas just taste like herbaly water (with the El Tesoro Extra Anejo being an exception), but that Tequila Ocho at 109 with the complexity of extra age is absolutely incredible.
That´s one out of XXXX Agave Spirits I CANNOT sip. horrible mezcal..invest some more 1-2 Dollars or Euros and you get at least something you can drink.. cheers. Markus. Tequila-Kontor Germany
You guys are so full of shit. You were going to rip on this Blanco simply because it's The Rock's brand before you even opened the bottle just to be all "edgy". Actual professionals have said for the price point it's very good. I can't take a review seriously from a grown man that still wears a Hurley cap backwards.

Just picked up a pint this eve. What i noticed is it kinda lays heavy on the tongue... Kinda like a bitter tail end. (slow mouth aborbing) as oppose to to other top shelf brands. Most importantly it does what we expect from our other "Top Shelf" brands. Thanks! 💪😎👍🎸🎶
