I really enjoyed this presentation. The abstracts were very interesting. I love how the artist was so open about the meaning of his artwork. And again we see an artist into different mediums - the collectible figurines and the wearable art/jewelry. Very cool.
Oh Cristiano her work is something else for sure. I hope to meet her again at another show and talk once more about any new works. Thanks for chiming in.
Thanks for watching! This big a display is often hard to do but I did the best possible. Generally I like to talk to the artists about their specific pieces. Not always possible.
Wow! So cool. I love how the Artist really cared about the mission of his subject and how he conveyed what made him so special. Great interview Ken. Thanks for sharing
Really interesting artwork. Very sci-fi in appearance yet as Lucy explained very deep and Spiritual in meaning. There is some cultural significance too. Very detailed descriptions for the “meaning” of each piece. Thanks for posting this Ken.
Thank you, I loved his work but Manitof only spoke French and there was no one to help me do a proper interview and could translate for me. Next time I hope.
Interesting artwork. I like that the cans were made out of clay. She’s very creative- branching out into other mediums (like the jewelry) is a good sign her work will keep evolving. Thanks for sharing this Ken. Good job!
Jackie Fuchs runs the Art Love Gallery and generally shows about a dozen other artists at an event like this one. I only talked to her and Ravi on video this time around. Gotta spread the attention after all.
Hey now!!! So I didn't bite into it in the video since it was so hot. I will say that it was very tasty and not unlike one of those McDonald's burritos if I could use as a close comparison. Thanks for chiming in :)
@@PiercingKen oh i enjoyed the whole interview and liked the artist very much. He seemed very genuine and grounded. The bleeding heart was very relatable. It’s the sharpness of the metal medium that i didn’t care for even though very creative. Wounds from metals often go very deep so I have a sort of an aversion. (Of course not talking about music which in that case I have metal in my blood lol)
Con$umr has some really cool stuff and is branching out to featuring other artists in a cool collective as he mentions. I look forward to more from him.
This is very interesting Ken. That he was a traditional oil painter but had to find a new way to create. Very cool that you’re one of the first to see this “AR” artwork. 👍
Good for you Ken. These positions are really important- most people don’t understand how important. Years ago I did some poll watching and was also an election inspector. Grueling hours for both but being a part of protecting democracy is crucial. Stay hydrated my friend.
Some of these videos are months old since I record a lot but only post one Short per day but thank you. I take pride in doing this very lengthy day task when I get asked to.
Yes it is. My vantage point was from the new building so I was above it by about three floors. They do tours which I've got to look into. Thanks for watching.
These gallery owners where a blast and I felt like I was dealing with buddies from times long ago. Very happy to meet so many amazing people and learn about the works they have.
My friend and I decided to share each item so we had garlic chicken, don don noodles, spicy cucumber (a first for me but a favorite of hers) and I forget what else we had. Enjoyed it all for sure.
Thanks for sharing this. I like that they show different artists every six weeks. Central Park and Prospect Park were designed by the same people so they look alike in many ways. Very similar design. 👍
There is a big movement down around that area with Arts Gowanus and the Established Gallery of course. Lots of diversity, I wish there was more time to share even more stories. Alas....nope.
