@@mrkendr9582 not really. My friend said Pak called the Tenpai player who beat him names like slow-ah Tenpai cheater or something. Idk for sure tho. Just what I heard
Hey. Feel free to ignore these videos. I'm really just uploading them so I can journal my progress and watch back my gameplay. But if you want, keep me accountable when I miss a daily upload by commenting. I intend on doing a few games each day at least. Today's games were my final 4 wins needed to complete the Wind and Water Master Duel event.
umm......great video except i suspect if there might be a small mistake in 04:41. When using horizon to discard core, the other card to foolish to GY from deck has to be in another attribute, meaning that it cannot be edge.......coz they both machine monster
There is not a mistake there. It can be dragon and/or machines sent. So both can be machines. They just need to be opposite attributes. Core is light and Edge is dark
Just an FYI. I said you can reborn Vortex off of Arc Pendulum's effect. You actually can't unless you first properly summon Vortex with a fusion card or effect.
whats the point of herz in cyberdark? most of the time it searches regular cydra that you can´t summon, Cybern and core are the only light cyber monsters you need, sure if you smoke screen into regular cydra then you don´t have to side as many cards in, I guess
0:38 I think it's better to add Cyberdark Realm, then use Realm to add Cannon, then use cannon to add chimera. Then discard the claw to get Cybernetic Horizon, then use horizon to send Chimera from your hand and Herz from your deck and add chimera, then send cyber end dragon. Chimera and Herz will trigger and you send horn keel or edge to GY and Herz adds Cyber dragon. Then just normal summon Chimera and discard clockwork night to get power bond and with power bond use Claw, Edge (or horn or keel), Cannon, Chimera and other chimera to summon Cyberdarkness. Cyberdarkness equips CYber end and finally you get a CYberdarkness with 8000 atk instead of 5600 attack. I know it barely changes anything, but i would see it as an improvement.
Useful feels like a bad description. You’re talking about cards that are flexible, and resilient, or are more broadly applicable. Sure they have more use cases but saying they are more useful is almost like saying nothing at all. You’re also using a false equivalency argument. A card can be both powerful and flexible (“useful”). Seals was probably not the best card to use as an example cause while the combo you showcased is cool and all it is not the only thing seals can summon. They could just as easily summon Koa’ki Meiru Drago of the seals in the battle phase and completely screw over what they were going to do in main phase 2. It is just as flexible if not more so than danger Nessie. Also spheres is an end board piece that takes up slots both main and extra deck and you’re talking about using dangers as a utility card going second. Apples to oranges comparison. The point youre trying to articulate here does not feel fleshed out enough because “useful” is not a useful barometer for evaluating a card. If you would’ve left out the part about the seals entirely and just rambled about those use cases for dangers versus the meta relevant interaction points like how it gets around droll and skill drain and apollusa and titles the video something like “the secret behind dark worlds success” or “how dangers can help you top a ycs” then we would’ve been cookin.
Well it sounds like you processed my video pretty thoroughly. You cooked with my video even though I didn't title it as you would have liked me to. I appreciate the feedback and the thoughtful view. I will give a thoughtful response below to your comment. I think the success of Dark World has more application than simply topping an event if you choose to copy and paste the decklist. That's why I titled the video as I did. We can learn from how it was able to achieve its success so that we can apply similar lessons to other decks. For example, you can apply the success of Dangers to D-Link. Instead of going for a gimmick like Koaki Meiru or Albaz; simply summon Magnumut from your deck or black metal for example. This way, you get an interruption and a follow up play that is nearly impossible to interrupt. You can out the opponent's normal summon, make them lose their battle phase, and have an otk line because you know you will at least see your next turn...all with a spheres. D-Link can top events too. But it takes more than copying and pasting decklists in order to get better at Yugioh. It takes understanding the why and how of strong strategies. Maybe "useful" wasn't the best word to use. But at the end of the day I can't sit here and find what works for everyone else. That's why I used examples and I said "useful" because at least I know what I mean by that. What people do with what I say is out of my control to an extent. Next time though, I'll try harder to think of a better way to put it. I appreciate the criticism. You're always welcome to critique any of my content how you see fit.
@@metaggrit it's all good, I checked for it actually after I received your message and I didn't see it. Ancient gears are my favorite so I was hoping that they will get a little bit more support soon. Is it hard to keep up with the meta
As a fellow ABC enthusiast, I really appreciate you being innovative with the deck and trying new ideas like this. Hoping to see more updated deck profiles of ABC Tenpai!
@@metaggrit yes, the first effect is : « ad one cyberdark to your hand » and then, you have to summon a monster juste after that, you cant use the effect of the cannon between those to.
@ianisgarcia6605 Idk why you are even arguing this. Play it out on a Simulator like Nexus or Master Duel. They use OCG framework in order to make sure the cards and effects function accurately. You can tell how Cyberdark Realm's normal summon effect works just by reading it. "During your Main Phase, you can: Immediately after this effect..." The colon means this is an activated effect.
Dude thanks so much, I just picked up a fire king tri brigade deck and this helped me a lot to learn some interactions for fire kings. Love your CyDra videos too!
Core add realm, realm add cyberdark edge, if you have 2 monsters you can make the buster blader link 2 which sends the lv1 dragon to the gy, then realm effect normal edge and edge effect to equip the little dragon
Thanks for the compliment. I've been playing competitively for a year. But I've played casually for about 4 years before that. When you play an unknown deck, always let them combo or whatever game 1, even if you feel like you are going to lose. Get as much info as possible. And of course ask your opponent what you could have done differently as well after the duels. When deciding where to Ash or Imperm/interrupt your opponent when you have never seen their deck before: it's almost always best to stop them when they activate a card or effect that makes them lose a resource for cost. For example cards like Machina Redeployment or T.G. Limiter removal make your opponent discard for cost. So chaining Ash Blossom here helps you go plus. If you only have Nibiru in hand: If it is a synchro deck, use Nibiru when they have a tuner and non tuner(s) whose levels add up to 10 because they can summon Baron here. If it is a Link based deck, nib them when they have 4 monsters on field or a Link 2 plus 2 monsters....or when they are about to summon Apollousa. In general though try and figure out what cards made you lose. Then read those cards and figure out how they summoned it or put it on field. You can even ask your opponent for this information mid duel. Most will politely explain it to you.
Thanks for this Idea As a Cyber Dragon player in Master Duel i use when i go 1st: Infinity + Vinama + Therion king I use Machine Duplication and eff of Galaxy Soldier/ Core / Nachster/ Herz/ Nova to summon up to 4 or 5 Cyber Dragons LV 5
You can with only core and machine dupe get 3 negates. 1. Summon core -> get cyberdark realm. 2. Machine dupe to combo into 1 infinity (first negate) and 1 cydra + Core on field 3. Set cyberdark realm and get chimera 4. Get powerbond and make chimera and core into quliport genius (second negate) 5. Summon eosvarog (3rd negate). Now if you got lets say deakblaster and another machine dupe in your hand you could do even more and get with three more lvl 5s a fourth negate (e.g. vimana or even NR.67) on the field and then with genius effect get therion on the field for a 5. negate. And if you only use two deakblaster then you can use the third to negate the column with your opponents extra monster zone. 4 card combo
Could you add a comment, or post in future videos the cards used in the video/combo. for example: combo 1: Requires X Y Z in hand, assumes {set of cards in deck}
Very unique list, I love it! As some have stated not a very pure cydra list but fuck it, I think its awesome and for going second you can side out shs and put in your clockworks and board breakers
The shs doesn't do anything here without the Cydra cards. I do an in depth explanation of things in my Combo video for this deck. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DTU1BBCtfMo.htmlsi=kJwGiFn2hRqifpAj
Awesome! Ill' take a look, seems really interesting, I as well have some really cool techs for cydra, I wonder if you have discord o insta so I could show you some stuff I've been working on@@metaggrit
@@metaggrit oh cool seems really interesting, I'll check it out! Btw, do you have discord or Ig, I would also like to share some techs and ideas I have been working on for while with cydra
How would you build With over future? Are you gonna exchange overload for over future? Overfuture can be sent of chimera but retrieved by blokade link monster
Pretty radical way to tweak the deck for more going first options the side deck can and will obviously depend on locals matchups or what is more prominent at higher tier events. My only concern is that you still are left depending on opening machine dupe and core/herz/nach i9n regards to putting anything up through droll like always with cydra as if you open the SHS properly and get the droll dropped on soul gaia unless I am missing something your best option is either omega or SP + Handtraps and needing a dupe combo to get anything else assuming they don't have an ash lieing in wait for dupe but that would be asking a lot for Cydra to magically play through 2 handtraps and its nemesis droll so kudos to you for what you've got here I can tell as usual the ED is TIGHT haha hoping to tinker with something myself since I toyed with something like this awhile back but was to busy to enter another of MBT's MCS events since I got top 32 on one of the early ones hopefully I can find something nice
Droll is annoying. Parallel Xceed can help establish boards through droll along with Dupe if you're looking for good options. Playing 3 Fenrir can also be good to help you get interruptions on board too. Thanks for the comment.
@@metaggrit The build I had tentatively for an MCS had Fenrirs since at worst theu are ash bait if your opponent doesn't know you're not on pure kash especially, I tried the exceeds as a merry maker kit prior when we first got sargas but the main thing is that you have to open an exceed essentially and adds some garnets to the deck amongst the rest. It's quite the little predicament as a deck that doesn't get to place onto the board from deck or readily summon , rumors are there's new support in either the light duelist pack, or the structure redo(if not skipped), or in a future set to add to the triple structures in the ocg since one is cydra themed. So hopefully we get more modern tools of our own soon enough
