Hey, I'm Brantzen! I've been playing poker most of my life; playing with family as a child, with friends as a highschooler, and at casinos from college until now. I'm based in the LA area, most commonly grinding out the $5/$5/10 NL streets. Hopefully you guys can learn, laugh, and/or be entertained by my videos! I'm always looking to improve my game, so any advice is welcome!
I've played poker for ten years. I stopped the dream of "doing it for a living". After realizing that simply variance is just almost impossible to get ahead at. Most players are very good these days. Even if your playing for good amount of money at the 5/5 1-2k buy-ins its still not reliable to make money at. Gave up a long time ago and simply just rarely do it as a hobby tbh. All i look at it as is as a hobby these days.
I see that i watched this video 1 year ago and commented. I see my growth in the game based on my comment. This was an absolute garbage way to play the hand. The donk lead on the flop was so bad. You know he likely has you beat and donk bet anyway. It only makes sense to do that if youre planning on triple barreling to fold out one of the hands mentioned that has you beat if you dont hit the T. Then going for the X/R screams "im not afraid of over pairs." I probably would fold AA in that spot right there.
No hahaha the structure of the tournament had no breaks because the tag team partner is supposed to relieve the other player, so no breaks for me 😅 I did run to the toilet to pee a couple times between hands hahah
