if i print out my own labels on my printer, do i still have to stand in line at the po. or can i just drop off my packages that have a shipping label on them'
Something I rarely see covered in these reviews is examining how these "acrylic" inks react to water once applied. I don't know about Poscas, but when I tried to use a very soft brush to apply an acrylic insulating layer on a painting done with Molotow One4All, the inks smeared a lot. And that was after weeks of drying. It is a little mentioned but important detail. The usual solution is to spray the acrylic insulating layer. But that's not something everyone likes. Another concern expressed by some fine artists is the mysterious chemical content of Molotow inks. They will look very bright, intense and pretty, but what are they made of? How lightfast are each? In professional paint lines it is now standard to state the pigment content (PB29 = Ultramarine Blue, PV22, PY35, etc.) on the containers. It is also specified whether it is a single pigment or several and how lightfast they are. A wealth of literature can be examined on how these pigments behave. With these markers, you don't know. My solution is to buy empty Molotow markers (which are excellent) and fill them with very low viscosity acrylic paints made for professional fine artists.
For me I prefer Molotow markers, special the paint is more better coverage and the paint is more them posca(M5ml , post 2.5ml) also if I use posca on some plastic material is too easy scratches too many different and quality is also different ,I paid many times to test both brand!
Thank you thank you thank you!!! Every other video I watched just made this topic more confusing for me. But this one really was to the point and helped with exactly what I needed!
I have that set. I like all the colors except the gold, which isn't metallic-looking enough, and the red, which is actually a very deep pink. I bought a single deep red from another brand, and it's unlikely I'll ever use the gold.
If you had to compare what would be better alcoholmarkers or these markers? In terms of quality and long term use. Im contemplating on getting ARTISTRO 15 Oil Based Paint markers 😅. Also budget when it comes to refill
Thanks I was looking for a way to ensure stickers stayed waterproof on party favors. Question would Aleenes Acrylic Sealer Gloss work in similar fashion? Since it's an acrylic sealer.
Does anyone have problems with the cover hinge ripping on their sketchbook? Not talking about spiral, but ones like this. It’s truly irritating. How do you prevent it?
I stole some sweet sailor moon stickers but every time I wanna go to work I see that the air moisture rolled the sticker up and removed it from my window
Thank you so much! Everyone else uses the laminating sheets, but it's super time consuming and I end up getting dust particles between the laminate and the stickers! Spray is much better.
Thank you! I am doing some research for my next video and your video was very helpful. I painted my snickers with the Molotow and they ended up pretty sweet. I was wondering how well the Posca would perform on this type of application (shoe painting) but seeing your video let me to believe I made the right choice by going with the Molotow markers. Nice in depth comparison video. Keep it up!
Really cool video. I enjoyed seeing the contents of your case. How did you get that pencil case? I tried tracking down the company but I can't find any way to purchase their products.
In Silhouette, you can just paint bucket the fill.. takes two seconds. You can also edit each point of the cut if you want to as well... I literally will never use cricut again.
Love love love this! I don't know who the lady is, but wow she's beautiful and you sketched her so realistic! So talented! I'm so impressed everytime I see your work! Get it girl! Get it! 🤗🥰
This video is so great! I love to draw and this totally inspires me to draw more and create art! Do you have a favorite brand of gouche? And do you have any tips on a beginner to the medium of painting? Thanks for being awesome! Hope you're doing well! 😊😊
Thanks so much love! And I do! It's actually Holbein acryla gouache so it acts a little different than normal gouache. (amzn.to/3ttab4L) (It acts more like a matte acrylic) but for normal gouache, I use a lot of the M. Graham colors! As far as tips I would say definitely don't be afraid to add a fair bit of water to get the paint flowing easily! And if you're layering dark colors with light colors or vice versa definitely make sure the paint under is super dry! I hope this helps! <3
Am trying out the Molotow and the Posca’s on acrylic paints for just one month now,the Posca’s are really nice for making the outside lines, for coloring in are the molotow’s way better,I always paint outside and in the sun, they both dry really fast, with the Posca paint the coloring cracks and the Molotow nothing at all!!!! So for me are the Posca’s better for lines, and for coloring big shapes are the Molotow better and easier!!!!
