If you use a Rectangular Alpha Mask, you can accomplish the same thing but you'll be displaying a line at a time. The keyframe interpolation needs to be set to Discrete for this to work well.

Thanks for the nice Layout system pretty much copied it <3 I kept Clip properties and put it top left above bin & grouped notes together with effect/comp stack.

Once again, thank you for another great instructional video. I had tried tried neon effects before but felt something wasn't right about it. I could not explain it, but it kept bothering me. Now, while playing with the attributes, I realized what I needed to make it just right.
I really like your style of presentation; simple, straight to the point and intuitive. What's more, sharing the file you present allows me to experiment to better understand how to use the effects by manipulating the factors. I am really excited to discover more techniques in your other sessions. :-)
I'm impressed. This short video is one of the best examples for showing, that it doesn't need proprietary, so called professionel software. I'm using Kdenlive now for 8 years and still don't need more. Thanks for sharing.
Miles ahead of the same priced version of DaVinci resolve (0$) and I absolutely love it. That is, I never got GPU playback on the timeline to work, or get GPU rendering looking good enough for production (except for test rendering)!
Dica de ouro! Só não entendo porque a equipe do Kdenlive nós dá tanto trabalho pra manipular objetos SVG no programa se poderia usar direto, como fazem com imagens Raster. Isso é muito ruim pra contextos de animação. Infelizmente as imagens em SVG são obrigadas a ficarem estáticas...
Tudo tem a ver com o inicio do projeto, o projeto começou de forma não tão organizada e por isso passou por um refactoring, mais ainda assim é muito difícil você corrigir e implementar em um projeto mal organizado. Eu sou programador c++ mais lendo o source do kdenlive, eu não sei onde entrar. Se o source fosse bem documentado e bem implementado ficaria mais fácil melhorar o programa.
@@Makinars nossa, que pena que o projeto se iniciou dessa maneira, é tão promissor... Mas essa sua resposta explica bem o fato do KDENLIVE ter problemas que não fazem muito sentido de acontecer.
