I just sold mine 2 weeks ago and got a toyota. The camry is great but god i loved this car and also hated it because of the constant mechanical headaches. Nostalgia
Luv your video and the car. Just have few questions if you can answer that..would appreciate it. Which is better- automatic or manual? I also heard that the bad thing about BMW is the expensive parts when they go bad- is this true? Follow up to this is- at what miles do they go bad?
Jus got one at 200k lml but the engine is clean son i feel like if it made it this far this everything should be good previous owner said he took care of if n serviced it well let me know how yours going I’ll let you know how mine goes lol
@@ytannaofficial no not really and it was ok wasn’t a bad car i actually crashed it and got a 2011 same same car but lil different but as long as it’s not leaking oil and everything running fine you shouldn’t experience any problems lml jus take care of it and it should hold you down
One question tho. Is it supposed to have power locks?? I have two children and its a pain in the ass to unlock both front doors and have to reach in to the back door handle to unlock the back doors. My dad seems to think it SHOULD be auto locks but i just got a key no fob when i bought it second hand
>Water pump failure >Radiator failure >Emission sensor failure >Blown Transmission >Common electronic issues As a BMW enthusiast, it's a great car indeed but this right here will bankrupt you. Although the 4.4i were bullet proof.
I'm giving up my 2008 328i for a 2011 Audi a6. I enjoyed driving this car but it's not fast. It's pretty on the outside ,seats are comfy but really bad on snow.its not really a beast.
You guyg are paying wayyyyyy too much for these lol florida im finding em as low as 3k and up to 10k being brand new ones! I have a car budget of 6k right now and am debating getting this just for comfort reasons.
Rene Joseph thierrry I just bought one for $4,000 with 110k miles. So far I've driven it for 1,300 miles and no issues at all. I use it mainly to cruise around with my dogs, so far so good. If it breaks I'll not take it to the BMW but to a regular mechanic specializing in imported cars.
Adityo Kusumo no problems as of today. I will have to replace the clutch system (it is manual transmission), but other than that it runs like a champ. 122,300 miles 16 year old.
I'm looking to move up to one of these from my 99 e46 318i, i'm glad its leatherette as my wife's pescetarian (veggy who eats fish) so nice one bmw for saving a cow.

I just bought a used 328i. I couldn't be happier. I traded in my 06' Mustang..4 litre, manual. I didn't expect much l power from the 328i, automatic.. I was very happy to be dead wrong. It is smooth and rides like a dream. ( On my way home..I didn't pay attention to the speedometer..,thought I was doing about 65 mph..,then I had to slow down to 95! I had no idea what I had been missing all those years.
@@officerbear10 I bought a sedan. Started getting a few minor oil leaks after 150k miles. Just traded up to a 2013 328i coupe. With a 2 year extended service contract. I got the coupe for the extra room in the front seat. Just retired this month...at 67..It wasn't so easy getting in & out of the sedan. No problems with the car.
