Axl was misunderstood,he was a real dude, with feelings, and if he got his feelings hurt or felt disrespected,he would react, sometimes erratically.you cant blame a guy with the balls enough to not take any shit from anybody,i love Axl hes a great vocalist and front man
I don't think I've ever seen an artist do something like this. You can tell how much genuine love and appreciation he has for his adopted family, and they're still with him to this day. The thing about people with abandonment issues is that they're good with loyalty. The reason the current iteration of GNR exists is Axl has an inner sanctum of people he can trust. And that's hard to find when you're worth $200 million and you have no anonymity.
I know what your saying. I wrote lyrics last December the first in fiteen years. I wrote while i was in hospital for 3 weeks. The book I wrote them on was stolen on the morning of my discharge from Cumberland. I have to say the lyrics were good. Just had to refine slightly. Sadly i cant rewrite it. Called The Last Note (musical note, that is).
I love him I feel old I was in my prime saw them in Foxboro mass what a show a roit broke out in the crowd and people were wipping full cups of beer the crowd got restless waiting on Axl I was part of music history
In spirit it was a double album. It was pompous for them to release "2 Albums" at the same time because if you wanted the singles that were released from both albums, you had to buy both albums. Therefore, it basically was a double album release. ... Even worse, half the the songs were not up to par, not even as filler songs. They should've just released the best half of those 36 songs. From being late to most of their shows, to their song "One In a Million", to Axl always lecturing the audience, even beating a fan for taking a photo, and then cancelling the show .... this band was absolutely the most POMPOUS BAND that has ever existed. Guns N' Roses literally could've been at least 3 times bigger than they were, selling over 100 million records, possibly 200 million records if it were not for the fact that they were literally the most childish and pompous band that has ever existed. ... ..
