Maybe that's the new symbol they use before the battery dies as a warning, honestly I'm not sure. What year and type of bike? Does it show the hours still or just that symbol? If its that symbol plus mileage its probably a maintenance reminder for that specific hour.
Thanks man but unfortunately it never ended up lasting very long. The stator tested well but had some weird shorting issues once it heated up so I ended up getting a new one and was expensive but money well spent. Started like a new bike after the new starter. Sorry all of my stuff is in Storage but its easy to find when you find the starter in the parts diagram it will be listed on the same page aa an available replacement part
I'm assuming you don't have the stock wheel to measure anymore? So there's only 4 ways it can go, maybe by process of elimination you could figure it out. The long spokes can alternate with the short spokes. If you look at the holes in the hub to to see if one hole is more set towards the center of the hub than the other. If so that's the long spoke hole. Or long spokes will all be on either side likely the rotor side since the rotor side takes up more room so start with long on that side if they don't alternate. You can try to look in the service manual it might tell you .
I don't believe so. You can try holding the button on the bottom for 30 seconds but I think that just resets it back to where it was if you get the error message.
yeah I replaced with the Bulletproof Designs or Bolt Lollipop. I forget which one but it was the type that the adjuster bolt and the axle block are connected together so as you adjust the bolt the block moves with it. I have two new bikes now and am running the stock design but I'll eventually upgrade to aftermarket ones. till then I overtorque it plus use a good deal of blue loctite.
All in all good thinking about the flaws of the design in the first part of the video. The only thing... sorry I need to break it to you, but the easiest pull will be with the pivot fixed as near to the cables as possible, that is, the furthest from the perimeter of the housing. Basic engineering mechanics. Have a nice one!
Yes thanks in the first video I mentioned that I had pulled it out cause it felt smoother to me without it. I have since moved on to Hydro clutches and don't miss cables fraying and snapping and cable adjustments constantly getting out of whack. Don't think I can ever go back to cable clutches.
I just purchased a new cylinder works head for a 08 kx 250f. The exhaust head journal and the exhaust bearing seat are so out of spec ".014 in. " that the cap will not mate to the head unless there is no cam. between cap and head. If you try to fit it the cam will not spin even finger tight the bolts. Let's see if they warranty this head for veing out of spec. shit happens
