You can see why Norvell uses the Portal so frequently and effectively. Dealing with the maturity and ego with some of these HS recruits can be exhausting.
As a guy who covers the Hogs, I can say that this had me shook😂 As far as NIL, not sure it was the main factor. The $$ for football is dismal because some donors what Pitt gone. Some of his interviews afterwards suggests Arkansas was higher than we all thought. Him and T-Will have a great relationship. But you’re right. Arkansas hasn’t been able to keep a 4-star recruit, so the recruitment is absolutely not over.

FSU is either going to overpay for HS kids or not. It’s all about the money for most of these kids which is fine. NFL is a pipe dream for most of them so as much cash as they can get NOW matters.
If you think it ain't over, I'm here to tell you that this recruitment is over. You don't spend a year stating that FSU is your first choice, it's where you want to be, and then commit elsewhere and then say, "everyone else thought they knew where I was going to go. The reason everyone else thought they knew where you'd go to school was because you told them that FSU is your leader. Ya don't do that sort of stuff to the school you want to be with. This was clearly a deliberate effort to mislead.
LB has been a hard spot to get quality LBs, yes we got one or so but its definitely a weak area in pulling players in. It's never over though. Go Noles 🏹💯💥

Shannon just can't close on elite LB's out of high school and that's unfortunate cuz we will have to keep looking in the portal for LB's every year instead of developing LB's from high school! Stop it. Traditionally Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida are considered Blue Bloods. The rest of the conference is above average because of the talent amassed. I'm with you though. . FSU and Clemson would truly make the SEC a powerful conference

247 recruiting rankings are obsolete in my opinion. With the NIL and transfer portal era recruiting class ranks should be based on Quality not Quantity. Once you have 20 Commits your average rating should take over. A class with 20 Commits at 93 average shouldn't be under a class with 27 Commits at 89 average.
