I have been collecting since 2015. I will pick up pretty much anything that catches my eye, but mainly focus on Transformers, GI Joe, NECA, Marvel Legends, and Star Wars Black Series. In 2019 I recently started messing around making dioramas and adding customizing figures. I am no expert by any means but just enjoy it. I have met some amazing folks online throughout the collecting community and just wanted to share my adventures too. I hope you enjoy!!
Nice pick ups. I’ve got the Action Man arctic raft just like yours except it’s white with black ropes and it’s missing the motor. Mine just came with a 1/6 scale arctic suit, 🎿skis, ski poles, a paddle, and some weapons. I wish I could find a motor to fit it. Thanks for sharing and have a good day brother.
It's sad a lot of large figures had boats and vehicles for cheap in the 1990s. You could have grabbed a bunch of stuff that would work with 6 inch before they actually started making joes at 6 inch.
Just seeing this in 2024. Glad you put the figures inside the car. I was just about to click buy, but I would rather the car to be slightly bigger. So a choice I recommend is the LOL Surprise City Cruiser. Tested the car out with my Love and Thunder Thor. Looks Amazing! If the pink is too much, then t could be painted.
Bought the same fence about 1 1/2 years ago. It works great! The original fence is okay if you use your left hand to steady it. Guess if you're a lefty you may be out of luck as flipping the Proxon around now puts the controls on the opposite side. I checked out your Alamo - neat stuff! One of these days I'll build a Foreign Legion fort to go with 1/72 Airfix guys I've been painting. I use Vallejo Earth Texture to paint the bases. You may want to try it if you ever decide to paint your Alamo guys.
I ended up taking the head off of the 60th Anniversary Infantry Soldier and putting it on Falcon. He looks better covered up. Maybe Cobra can play soccer with the head...
Thx for the tip! I never would have looked on Temu, but they basically have the same dollhouse accesories as amazon just often way cheaper, also found some decent looking weapon packs, FX and so on. They seem to have decent bootleg figures as well, found a 'NECA' Scorpion Alien and in the product details it says "This is the Chinese version of the Figure, it looks exactly like in the photos" 😅 - which for 27€ would be a worthwile experiment
another interesting topic - post bro while I m not into 3 d printing, I appreciate to see what is done I m not into that 'stand' system, I don t like that we see the clamp... a reg pin, on a preferably clear plate still sounds best to me I agree that some guys might want the stands, when you have too much figs on a shelf, it helps one should know when all we can see is a bunch of mixed colours... I m close to 60 now, Joes, legends, Indy and I figured a different system 4 scenes, [small apart] 1 - ruins 2 - ruins 3 - storage bay inside a cartoon based base [joes] 4 - urban building with front street I try to incorporate real plants in the dios all scenes are currently in construction - work in progress figs stay in their boxes, unless on one of the scenes boxes are displayed on top of my pantry green led lighted hall of fame style it s mainly deco, but more flexible than statues often enough, it s humorous in cross overs like, Halo master chief transporting Madamme Hydra on one arm, working for them Indy and Joes fighting Cobra for the ark funny stuff this video inspired me for a change however, I m hard thinking about a Cobra arena section... this 'stair' shape inspires the seats of the MASS arena, ancient ruin style where Duke fought the barbarian, and CC and Destro were playing them maybe I d go for that throne - arena scene instead, mmmm... so now you know... good show bro
