Many thanks. Surgery is indicated in this condition if the patient is cyanosed, or has reduced exercise tolerance, or has had a paradoxical embolism or has severe TR as defined on echo.
Just went through this type of test at 55 and it was definitely something to see as it was done. I obviously had no idea of what I was seeing but this vidio is so helpful to understand what those that do review them can see. Still scared to see what the results are going to be when I go back for the follow up.
Thank you for great time I was spending during this webinar, all of speakers are master on AS topic and the way they discuss every single question with each other looks amazing, It was a pleasure!
Took some things from this. The LA measurement is the most controversial thing out of everything that I have personally experienced after different hospitals. He's definitely got a voice for radio/gaming.
Regarding the hyper-refractile sub endocardial border: this is seen quite a lot on echo, what are other explanations and differential diagnoses (microvascular dysfunction?)? Would you report binary sign every time it is seen? Thank you!
