Bro, soldering two 4 ohm drivers together on each side just means youre dropping the impedance down to 2ohm total per side and its cutting that tiny bit of wattage available even lower. Stock stereos only provide 15-22w rms per channel, those are only getting 7w-11w rms per. your stereo has 4 speaker outputs, wire the tweeters to their own channels (rear speaker wires coming from the back of the pioneer) instead of wiring them parallel to the door speakers. All you would have to do is cut the wires right before where you soldered them, strip the wire, then take out the headunit, look behind and grab the unused rear speaker wires and strip those and add a wire going from those to your doors for the tweeters with the inline crossover. Youll have more power for the tweeters and for the coaxials.
So i have a pioneer double din 4 coaxial speakers (2) front (2) rear i would like to add tweeters since my car had an oem component set up how do you recommend i run the tweeters to just the front without straining my 4 channel amp (dropping resistance of speakers)
@@ImNotBueno Are the four coaxial speakers hooked up to the 4 channel amp? If they are, you can just hook up the tweeters to the wires on the back of the Pioneer. They usually have a built-in low wattage 4 channel amp. You can even wire two pairs of tweeters using all 8 wires, just wire them in and install the two pairs of tweets up front. Or one pair if youd prefer. But only do this though if you have external crossovers for the tweeters, either included ones that wire in, or aftermarket ones that wire in
@@Luminous.Dynamics yes they are i have them bridged currently, and man thanks so much i appreciate the help i wasnt sure it would be possible without just swapping to components but i spent a lot on these coaxials and i didnt want to have to spend even more on a pair of components
So they just completely ripped off the UK company Wharfedale with their WH-2 model!! But at an unbelievable price, the WH2's had a 4.5" mid/sub woofer in though not sure on tweeter but they seem to have liked the design from Wharfedale.
Looks and sounds great man. What year is your stinger? And is this the MBRP pro active electronic valve exhaust? What else has been done to it if you don’t mind me asking? Your sound is what I’ve been wanting.
i have a sound bar and its connected by blue tooth and nothing more if i purchase these speakers will i need to purchase the connector cords for them or do they have hdmi im not sure how this works and they come with a power cord right?
I have a body shop telling me these won’t fit they can’t get them in. I sent them this video to reference. They said I sent them larger tips then the ones you used. I’m pretty sure MBRP only makes these in 1 size outlet
Not surprised, that's why I want to make a video I couldn't find any one else doing the same thing but they will have to grind the bumper to get those in. As for mbrp there really aren't any other tips. As long as you ordered the tips that are similar in size to the ones I got it should fit
I have a 2002, I can't shit it into reverse. It was in extreme hot weather. The last 2 winters in freezing temperatures. I have 33k miles. Do you think I need to check this?
still liking these speakers? my sofa is also against the wall one side is like you the other side wall is about 9ft away.i think the way you had your old speakers would be hard on the ears if your not sitting centered thats my problem making 5.1
My dad had a pair of AR speakers, but with the many moves from him being in the Army they eventually got too damaged, he then bought a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 70's, I still have them and love them very much. I just recently bought a pair of Polk XT20's that I'm going to use as surround sound speakers.
A Dollar Store drain aluminum pan is not going to cut it when the weight of 4+ quarts of used oil is in it. A regular oil catch pan would be a better choice. Toi prevent stripping the oil drain plug, it is best to use a torque wrench (25 ft.lbs.) If you run the engine prior to draining the oil, there is not sufficient time for the oil to drain from the oil filter and it creates a mess when replacing the filter.
Hey man just got the kit and installed them basically the same way. But for some reason the small little circular amber blinkers don’t blink with my main turn signals in The main 3” housing is working fine. The White DRL is on all the time and turns to an amber blinker when the turn signals are on. But yeah the little ones don’t do anything. They are connected directly to the included harness and the factory harness. Any ideas?
Good point, mine are just a solid yellow and don't show any blinking when using a turn signal. I'm not sure if there more of a light to be on or if it is to blink or not, my need to check with the company to see if that is the intended purpose.
@@KyleCaughill yeah I dunno I see that yours light up at least. They don’t blink but they still function. Mine are dead and it’s the same kit and harness. Weird I’ve tried troubleshooting with their tech dept but they have been useless lol. Anyways thanks
@@chriskociolek1830 I'm not surprised, the only thing I noticed is if you have a secondary harness and it not coming from the original I've seen issues there and or if it's not wired correctly but usually they're dumb proof on the side marker things there with there connections so they can't be wired backwards
Seems like the good quality device. It would be great if you compared the voltage readings through this device with the readings of an accurate professional multimeter.
TV is mounted way to high. Should be at eye level👀.Thanks for the video I was contemplating hanging on back wall or minting my bipolar speakers on stands which is to low. Beside hanging them up on back wall clears all obstructions. thanks rock on
I have the stinger 2023 apex edition and it didn’t come with tips “ I think “ so I can see those one are bigger than the diffuser so you had to put that hole bigger that’s right ? I have the stock exhaust muffler so I want only to put exhaust tip to my stinger I need to remove the entire thing to put 2.5 “ 3.5?
Excellent Video; however, I had trouble finding info on Automatic Transmission fluid changes (especially for 2006-2009 Miata NCs). On the Manual Trans. there are Fill and Drain bolt (top-Bottom 23mm and 24mm) BUT on an Automatic Transmission there is a 24mm Top fill bolt (on the side) and a regular Transmission Pan drain plug "under" the transmission with a 9/16 bolt. Also the Side Top Fill bolt has a "rubber" washer gasket (NOT a crush washer) so just snug it to keep it drain coming out (wouldn't torque it hard). My 2007 Car Manual calls for JWS-3309 Trans fluid and I found three types on EBAY/Amazon...Mazda Fluid, Aisin ATF-OT4 and Idemitsu ATF Type M. Also the Automatic Transmission takes three and 1/2 quarts to fill. The rear Differential has two bolts 23mm fill and 24mm drain (both with crush washers and torqued to 25-33 ft lbs). I used Redline 75w90 gear oil..took less than 1 quart.
I have this speakers to use for dolby atmos and wow sound are better and think buy 1 more set biopolar speakers for surround seen i have set from fluance speakers ;)
