Thank you for your message. Yes, that's one of the main advantages of using BDS magnetic drilling machines. You can use the machine Overhead and achieve the same results. Its very important to use only cutting pastes or cutting spray while drilling overhead, or else the liquid coolant can enter the motor and cause damage. We also recommend using a SWIVEL BASE equipped BDS magnetic drilling machine for drilling overhead as it helps in fine-tuning to locate the hole.
