Climb aboard with Greg and Tracey as we take you along on our travels.
We're Happily Ever Aft! By air or by sea, our love for adventure from the day we met has flourished into our non-stop quest of sun, fun, and excitement. We're thrilled to have you along with us. Aviation and Airlines has always been our thing as Tracey takes to the skies often as a Flight Attendant, yet the sea is always calling our names. Cruising brings us so much enjoyment we wanted to share with others. Whether you're a seasoned cruiser who knows all the ins and outs, or thinking about taking your first cruise, we invite you to SUBSCRIBE and join us!
Service and food was awesome on Reflection. Nice ship too. Not my kinda cruise though. Too many 'activities' were in shops and spa to sell you more. "Included" activities seemed sparse, though only one sea day might've contributed to that.
We don't think it was medical (never heard anything) but possibly cruising out into international waters to be able to open the casino or maybe just killing some time since we were so close to the next port? 🤔 Not really sure!?!
Did you pick you Jr Suite or do GTY Suite? Ive notice the price point between picking my balcony cabin and GTY isn't very much. I've booked 2 cruises B2B on Navigator in December so I guess I will find out myself
We normally pick our room, we usually go for higher level mid/aft portside of the ship close to the elevators. Greg and I have been recently discussing this, "would you rather pay more and pick it or leave it up to chance?" If we plan to try to Royal Up, we will no longer be paying more to pick our room. Hope this helps! 😊
@@HappilyEverAft I have 2 GTY suites for December so I will see how it works out. My thinking is can there be a bad suite even if junior? I liked your comment about twice a day cabin service. I ask for ice twice a day.
The tour was good and did cover a lot of ground. We did take a small boat across from where the animals were for the beach. We did not have a super long time at the beach. The beach area was pretty small and we spent the time there grabbing some food and drinks. The beach spot had free lounge chairs and a bar with food. Overall, a good value for the price.
Our first choice is always towards the back with the balcony on the bump out of the ship. This room location wasn't horrible but wouldn't have been our first choice. We did use the front elevators a lot with this room location and they always seemed to be less busy. 😊
I hope you guys enjoyed my back yard (Seattle). I can’t wait To see what you guys did. We stopped at Catalina Island years ago and had an awesome experience. Hope yours was just the same. We will be on Harmony next month and Oasis in March for some much needed RC relaxation but we might need to try a Radiance class some day. Safe travels you two!!
We absolutely loved Seattle, it is such a great part of the country to explore! Greg will be jealous that you will be on two Oasis Class ships coming up! The Oasis class is his favorite!! 😊
@@HappilyEverAft I’m glad to hear you guys enjoyed Seattle and I can’t wait to see your adventures in the next video. And I have to say Oasis is my favorite class but I haven’t been on Icon yet😉
QUICK QUESTION: Can you tell me how many ladies wore long evening gowns in Formal Nights? The kind that may have a dash of sequins or an overlay of chiffon? I really need to know. We will be on the Harmony in a few months. Thanks. 😊
Formal night is really up to you on how fancy you want to get. There will be quite a few women wearing long sequin gowns all the way to just a nice summer dress. You won't be the only one if you decide to wear a super fancy dress or if you chose just a nice dress. Have a great time on your upcoming cruise!!
I love Celebrity. I have cruised other cruise-lines. You were on an old ship on a short cruise. Cruise one of the newer ships the serve and food are usually excellent..
Going on the Reflection in January. I think you'd love the Apex and lve been on her twice. The elEquinox and Eclipse are two more I've been on. Love the relaxing vibe of Celebrity and the service is wonderful! A bar in the huge buffet and the Solarium won me over! Also turn down service.
We stayed on board when we visited Nassau the last time. The ship is less crowded and peaceful. Nice vlog, very informative! Thanks. We sail on the Reflection in November, but we don’t stop in Nassau. 😁
@@HappilyEverAft 5 night cruise. Ft. Lauderdale, Key West, Bimini, day at sea, Coco Key. We booked really early and got the Concierge class for $10 more than standard for the entire cruise.
It is like a treasure hunt onboard! Cruisers bring ducks from home usually wearing a tag (family name/ship name/sail date, etc...) and hide the ducks all over the ship. It's a lot of fun to find and hide ducks!!

We are going on this ship the week of October 21st this year. Our first time on Celebrity and I can't wait, because we are traveling with another couple.
Greg and I discussed this last night and we feel each won in different areas but overall a draw. We need to go on a longer Celebrity cruise to really give you a real definitive answer. Scrambled eggs were better on Royal, Cheesecake better on Celebrity, dinner rolls better on Royal, gelato and ice cream flavors win for Celebrity....
You will love the Edge class ships! Glad you had a great time on Celebrity. We’ve sailed on Celebrity 27 times. Prefer smaller ships to Royals’s mega ships.
Enjoyed your video. I’m doing a back to back on Celebrity Reflection in October-3 night+4 night. Love the coffee, coffee, coffee. My husband and I are big coffee drinkers too. That prime rib looked amazing! We are not elite, but will have a drink package the first leg and have an Aqua room the second leg (looking forward to the Persian Garden and I love the ice room, lol)
Another great video, Greg and Tracey! I've been following your adventures for a few months and just recently subscribed. We are going on our first cruise this November on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas with my siblings and their family to celebrate our impending retirement and we are really looking forward to it. All of your videos are helping us get ready! 🙂
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! What a great way to celebrate your upcoming retirement!! Congrats!!! 🎉 Freedom is a great ship for a first cruise and could be just the beginning to how you spend your retirement time! 😂
Hey guys! Another great video that has given me more to think about as far as considering a Celebrity cruise. The Le Petit Chef experience, that serene solarium pool, gyros and of course who doesn’t love a perfect day at CocoCay. You guys are great tour guides and ambassadors of cruising as well as advisors for us to consider when booking a cruise and what there is to do when on the ship. Wishing you both all the best and safe travels!! 🚢 ☀️🏝️
