After installing the addon It doesn't show up under Mesh.. No landscape option.. I've installed/uninstalled and rebooted several times.. not sure why it won't show.. using 4.2.2 LTS version
Make sure Blender 4.22 LTS is set to factory settings. If not, then try installing Blender 4.2, install the plugin, then install Blender 4.22 LTS. The plugin should be there.
@@AnimazaStudios it really did. I was trying to blend/add an idle, then jump animation onto an already running animation. Kept snapping back to 0.0.0 BUT your tutorial showed the Graph editor and hip bone trick ❤️❤️❤️Thank you

Hello. Blender 4.2 changed a couple of things. Go to Edit-preferences. Click agree. It will link to the extensions.blender.org site. Type ‘land’ in the search bar and A.N.T. Landscape will appear. Click install and it will be installed in Blender 4.2.

I had been using this method for some time and it worked great always but now I am trying it with a model I downloaded from Sketchfab, and it had a loop walk cycle already. Now when I apply linear extrapolation on z location the character starts to float instead. Is there a fix?
Hello. Its hard to say as the tutorial was designed for Mixamo models not Sketchfab models. If the character floats in a consistent manner, try applying keyframes manually to the collection the characters bones are in to place it on the floor.
That was a fantastic video. I needed this because Mixamo's walking animation has a closed fist, and I wanted a more open hand. This video helped perfectly for that
@@AnimazaStudios hey exporting the mesh to mixamo and putting it back to blender works, but there are duplicate bones like the shoulder I'm going to see if I can't simply create the missing bones myself, I'll keep you posted :)
Hello. Blender has a few bugs. Your best bet is to restart Blender and only work on the cap waving. Once it is working, copy and paste it into the final Blender document.
It would be more helpful if the presenters of these types of videos would say which version of blender theyre using, ive got 2 versions this doesn't work with either of them

Backwards? Well make sure that the hip curve is facing the right direction. If not, then flip it in reverse by moving the bottom part of the curve up and the top one down and see if it works.
Hello. Restart Blender and try again without any complex meshes in the Blender session. If it doesn’t work, try another character. Some mixamo characters work better than others.

Looks like the hip curve is off. Make sure it was properly selected before you run the process. Also apply the process in a clean Blender project with only the character in the program. Blender has a hard time if there are too many meshes in the scene.

@@AnimazaStudios Thanks for your reply. But under Delta Transform everything is already zero, can't fix the offset that way. In Edit Mode the character is at the center, but in Object Mode it's totally off.

Hello. As far as I know, there is no way to directly import xaf animation data into Motion Mixture. What you do is a workaround. Apply the xaf to a character with cat bones, export it as an fbx, re-import it as an fbx, then you can use Motion Mixer.

Update: I got it working, but not for the feet and leg movements, they reach a certain point and then just keep going up and down, even when I changed their y axis to linear, so I guess I have to do those manually, still saves a lot of time by not need to do all the rest, thanks for that. I'm using 3ds max by the way.
